If we were to sign 2 players in January

That's what started this man...

You've not provided any proof, certainly not from his time here...and you hadn't heard of him before he arrived (on a free having failed a medical elsewhere).

Hold on

I said at the time I hadn't heard of him when we signed him and followed that up by saying when we did sign him I read up about him.

On reading about him I learned he was a quality player who had been tracked by the top four up until his injury if France.

What is your point?

Are some of such big Jessie's that you are trying to find some fault with either of those statements.

And just to clarify, this all started with me expressing a desire that we don't sell him in January.

Strange some of you lot on here at times.

Why do think Marveaux is a "proven quality player", CT?

I don't know if CT used the right words to describe his current stature, but Marveaux was once proven for having at least above average skills as a midfielder in his time in France. He was also highly regarded as a youngster not unlike Ben Arfa (I refer to the games here since I didn't really follow French football at the time), and played almost an equal amount of games like him and scored exactly the same amount of goals (in a shorter time aspect). Ben Arfa is now 25, Marveaux 26, so the age difference is not massive either.

Ben Arfa stats

2004–2008 Lyon 64 (7)

2008-2011 Marseille 63 (9)

Marveaux stats

2006–2011 Rennes 102 (16)

He's not proven in anyway shape or form tbh. Unless being a promising youngster whose career has been basically littered with injuries for about 5 years makes you a proven player. He's done fuck all since he arrived too. And CT clearly knew fuck all about him before his time here. Marveaux's basically a technically adept player who has some potential if (massive 'if') he can get back to the form he showed 4 or 5 years ago in France. That's, more or less, the opposite of 'proven'. You bint.

You bint.

Stereotypical british anti-social behaviour this one. And question to the "he's done fuck all", how many chances has he gotten so far?

I take it that's the only part of my post you took issue with  You bint

Not at the moment, but its not too late.

Players who's been plagued with injuries in their past doesn't necessarily make them shit.

He's done fuck all since he arrived too.

I think he's been using his few chances well.

Marveaux was not an unknown player, I had heard of him like 5 years before he signed.

Up to his injury which I doubt lasted for 3-4 years, he was showing good form, not worse than what Ben Arfa was showing in his France days at least.

That's, more or less, the opposite of 'proven'.

Lol, what you've said does not the make it opposite of proven.

You bint.

Yeah, I just asked Tom to delete my account, I'm tired of the insane high percentage of complete cockheads like you.

This is the sort of thing I read you pedantic assembly of Jessie's.

Man Utd, Chelsea chasing Rennes winger Sylvain Marveaux

Rennes winger Sylvain Marveaux is in the sights of Manchester United and Chelsea.

L’Equipe says that Paris Saint Germain, Marseille and Lyon are all keen on snapping up the man already being dubbed 'the new Florent Malouda', while United and Chelsea are also keen.

The 23-year-old has been in marvelous form this season scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 31 appearances.

Sociopath.

Considering the anit-semitic shit you aimed at the player I just mentioned a while back I think you're getting a bit carried away with your mock indignation there.

ben arfa won multiple leagues and cups at both clubs and player of the year though, and played large portions of his time on the left wing, and those stats aren't even right he scored double figure goals for both clubs, they must just be league apps/goal figures he scored at least 4 in europe for Marseille

sorry, the Norwegian wikipedia sucks when it comes to football stats... actually I just checked and it's the same in english so not so bad afterall.

The fact he was dubbed the new Florent Malouda probably shows how trustworthy that article was. Completely different players.
