sammynb 3367
BTW - this is the greatest Elvis song, he's off to Vegas and going to fuck them all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFw5a5Bp_Pw
Gemmill 44995
My point exactly. Both of these artistes were massive at the time. Looking back and cherry picking what you think was cool (good taste) is not the same as living through it and appreciating it for what it was at the time. There can't be many people that play the "Don't talk to me about the 80s kids. I WAS THERE!" card. It works for the 60s. For the 80s? No so much. CabayeNay 0
His music was OK. He was a deluded, obese druggie who fucked kids. Like a thin white MJ, he is revered just as much. It's all a mystery to me. Must be the rose tinted spec effect.
Howmanheyman 33282
Watched a bit of Jools Holland's show last night, Jesus was there some fucking atrocious noises on there and Lisa Marie Presley was no exception, (looked rough as a badgers arse as well). Howmanheyman 33282
It's absolutely shit like. 1 good act a week if you're lucky. Neil Sedaka was on, played a slower version of 'breaking up is hard to do' on the piano and showed the rest up.
