New rig

Im toying with upgrading my PC for a high spec gaming rig. Want it water cooled as well as I keep it in a desk unit and theres not much circulation.

Anyway, I used to build my own but now frankly cant be arsed. So, do I buy an overpriced Alienware and be done with it, search for other pre-made rigs, find a shop that sells parts and pay a bit more for them to build it, or stop being lazy and do my own?

Any sites recommended to use as well?

Cheers

On a similar thing, I'm interested in building a media server PC.

Just want to story everything I own onto it, which is quite a lot. Then cable it up to maybe something like an Acer Revo so I have complete access to my multi media library at all times.

What would the best way to build the PC be? As I have no fucking idea what to do first.

My question is this (copied from my email to them) : I have a problem with Depth. The case I chose and the one you suggested are actually too deep for the space I have. Can you recommend a good case that would fit this system that would fit within the following:

H - 530mm

W - 460mm

D - 480mm (giving me room for right angled power cord)

He fucking replied with a 52cm deep case. when I questioned it he offered some cheap 48cm case which clearly was no good for the spec I posted.

Can I get a good case that will fit in the space I have?

Right, cheers! Id like to keep it outside of the cabinet but a mouthy dog and two kids suggests its not a great idea. Id look at the HTPC style case though PCSpecialist do not seem to do them. Any other online company like that people use / recommend?
