One to say Leazes should be banned, another to say he should be invited back. One account to post about weight watchers another to post pictures of the sick on a plate he's wolfing down every day, the beers he's overindulging in and the pre-match burgers he likes most. These contradictions annoy me a great deal more than any bollocks the Wolfy creation spouts....especially when Wolfy's chats get 90 odd pages so people clearly enjoy the character. "this guy is an old member on a new account!" "no way he's really from CountyX" We have multiple threads like this one with people whinging about the quality of the content on here but doing fuck all to change it or contribute to making it better, but a large majority are happy enough to trying to be smartarses like above. Fish bothers his arse to do the go fishing bit and can hardly get any interaction on the threads, yet i know a large portion of people read the outcomes so it's a prime example, yet a thread like this or the "health of toontastic" one ends up 10 pages long with people trying to lob in as many posts of one line wit as they can. Content like that is fine when it's matched with other meaningful stuff, the last while it hasn't been and the forum is getting loaded with the same monotonous shite. I've said it before, people spend too much time on here trying to be clever because they're bored and have nothing else to do and can't be arsed contributing properly to a thread, if you are posting just to try be a dick like J69's example above there, just don't bother, go scratch your bag or something. Like i said, in one of the other threads, if anyone wants to lob up some (sort've) article for the site, a review on a reserve game, whatever i'll happily post it up like i do for TheFish's stuff, if you can't be arsed doing that or commenting properly on threads on here, and just want to have a whinge about it go read the bbc news or something instead. The OP really was a bit of tongue in cheek and this morning I even said 'in the grand scheme of things I couldn't give a shite'. If anyone seems a bit on the defensive it seems to be the mods and for why I've no idea if it's just in regard to any of my pretty much innocent posts? As for telling people to 'Fuck off elsewhere'. Why? I don't think anyone's took the piss in this thread or made a twat of themselves I just think a little overeaction from the good guys in charge on this one.
