Lake Bells tits 1
Been thinking about taking up a martial arts form for future car chases from the back of CT`s taxi. Anyway seems like a decent way of staying in shape with the added benefit of being able to protect yourself and possibly your future family too. Been thinking about different arts, have my mind set on Silat at the moment. Anyone else done it? Experiences etc? Im stiff as a plank so bit worried about injuries etc.. Cue obligatory wax on/off picture... Edited August 28, 2012 by Lake Bells tits
Christmas Tree 4729
Cue.... A blind man goes into a ladies bar, sat at the bar he turns to the woman next to him and says "Do you want to hear a blonde joke?" The woman replies "As you are blind I feel its only fair to warn you, this is a ladies bar, I'm blonde and a champion at karate, my two friends are blonde and are professional wrestlers and the barmaid is blonde. Now do you really want to tell that joke?" The blind man thinks for a moment.... "No, I don't want to have to explain it four times."
Kid Dynamite 7034
Not sure any martial art will help you protect you or your family. Surely boxing/kickboxing/mma is your best bet and the most transferable into real life? A judo throw or karate crane kick will probably just get you stabbed in the street
Lake Bells tits 1
Judo and karate are defense SPORTS. Good for defending yourself but ultimately useless if the other guy is carrying a weapon or is dangerous. Thats why Im looking at other sports such as silat. Its an indonesian combat style that focuses on primarily attack and to severely injure, break and even kill within seconds.

Lake Bells tits 1
Since the terrorist attack last summer the parliament are currently discussing banning ALL semi-auto rifles. Im buying one before it gets banned, similar to the one breivik used. You never know, do you? Especially with all the muslims currently SWARMING over our borders. feckers.. my home is my castle and all that.

I was supposed to be playing Mini Golf on top of a building in the centre of London tonight, but through nobody's fault that plan has gone awry. Jill 0
Been toying with the idea of taking one up for years but never got round to it. I did briefly do a few trial sessions at a kickboxing gym which I really enjoyed, the cost put me off though. Plus one of the sessions was really fitness based (situps, running round the gym etc) which I was hopeless at at the time. I'd be canny at that part of it now though so it wouldn't scare me as much. Yeah, kickboxing is canny. Im more interested in immediate dispatchment and incapacitation techniques though. Basically more military, less sports based. Kevin Carr's Gloves 3905
I did karate on and off for 23 years boxed for a few years in the army did tae kwon do for a year and aikido for a year. Martial arts are good for fitness but my dad used to be head doorman at the sombrero / crocodillos in Chester le street. He taught me how to fight. Mate, without letting this turn into a political debate - most norwegians are massive racists - the demographic composition is so, so different from england you wouldnt believe it. Those who arent are left-wing socialists who wants everyone to come ( but dont you dare suggest they move into certain areas or share schools with their own children - fucking hypocrits) Alot of people actually agree with Breivik ( although obviously not with methods of promoting them). Most of the immigrants here are either criminals or on social benefits. Look to europe and you will find alot of groups and even political parties publicly supporting his views, latest one was in france I think. wolfy 12
The best bit about martial arts when a gang confronts you is the noises. I was walking home with my wife, when 4 lads followed us and one shouted, "oi mutton head, give is a tab", I shouted, I don't smoke, which was a lie because I had 20 regal in my pocket. One of the lads shouted, " don't lie beef jerky head, you have 20 regal in your pocket", well that was it, I just lost it and pulled up my trackies as far up my bum as I could, exposing my navy blue ankle socks and black plimsoles and said to my wife, " here, hold my duffle bag", I then jumped up and went, 'eeeey hiya , wahhhhhh uma ti shi hacka hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm' you know stuff like that in a sort of screechy voice, and they all ran away. It didn't work for me a week later though because I had hush puppies on, white ankle socks and cords , with a tank top and also carrying a blue, years ago ADIDAS bag. Sometimes you can bluff it out if you're wearing the right gear.

A Some Danes who I worked with (awesome blokes) described Islam as "the disease within". And I can see why they did. This is not long after the Jylands piece where the whole Islamic world was calling for the destruction of Denmark (and the rest of the Western World) because someone drew a picture of Mohammed. Bonkers, man.
Lake Bells tits 1
Latest incident in denmark, following a gang fight in a rural area, a lynch mob (80+ people) stormed a local hospital to kill a guy currently undergoing surgery following the wounds of the fight. Turned the hospital upside down, storming through every room and threatening sick people about his whereabouts, but luckily they didnt locate the operating room. Police arrived and managed to arrest 11 of the offenders storming the hospital. This is in a muslim part of that area. Following the arrests, a SPOKESPERSON for the area went on television and threatened that if the arrested individuals were not released by 1800 the same day there would be a violent response. Gotta love our new countrymen.
luckyluke 2
The Jiu Jitsu I practice is a self defence martial art rather than a sport. We train to defend ourselves from punches, kicks, hair/neck/body grabs, knives, coshes, bottles, chains, swords, baseball bats etc using mainly joint locks and throws with some striking. However there's stuff we do that is more art based, it's not purely 'real' techniques. But there is a fair amount of it, and I've defended myself on the street successfully using stuff I've learnt. For a pure self defence something like krav maga might suit you. Their throwing/locking/falling won't be as good as ours though.
