I've been to Chelsea a few times in the 80s lost 4-0, 6-0 ( white mice, white mice  ) and a 2-0 win.

It was canny rough in them days, never been back, i would have loved to have been there last season to see Cisse's goals mind.

How much is it to get in ?

I remember having to pay £5 to get in and being disgusted as most grounds them days were only £2.50 or £3 to get in.

Think the cheapest ticket is around the £50 mark.

By chance I'm in London for this. Any recommendations of pubs to watch it in?

Staying in Trafalgar Square but could also be in the West End while the girls take in a show.

No Blue lanterns etc thank you very much :)

Want a ticket CT?...

Chelsea (a) ST holder sale now - zero points

;)

Mind, a couple of rounds in the Traf Square/Soho neck of the woods will set you back as much as a ticket to ver Bridge.

Anyway, I haven't been for a while but the Cock and Lion (just behind Oxford Street near Bond Street) is a traditional gathering point for our fans in the big smoke: http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/show.shtml/84/Cock_and_Lion/Bond_Street

For the cup finals toon fans used to assemble at a pub adjoining Leicester Sq tube station (iirc).

Does that not happen on regular London trips?

Leicester Sq if for cunts and tourists.

Come on then, what's my speed?

It's a "proper" pub, serves lagers and ales, food is pub grub, not high falootin' couscous on a bed of quail's knackers.

Your speed.

Wasn't an insult.

Get yersel to Kings Cross early doors CT, you'll find loads of our lot, then head into town. Chepest place for a pint near the ground is the Fulham CIU club, next to what used to be the Britannia, which has now been ponced up and is called "Bar So"...its out the arse end of Fulham Broadway tube,5 min walk...
