Moon Landings

They're balls of plasma radiating energy into the universe.

What do you think stars are?

I honestly and truthfully do not know what they are or what they are made up of.

Obviously a tefal head will tell us all what they are made of and most will just say, " ohhhhh, so that's what they are" the truth is it's like asking how long a piece of string is.

Eclipses aren't predictable using the Ptolmaic model of the Universe though; however they are EXACTLY predicted using the Gallieo heliocentric model.

Epic fail there on your behalf though you won't have the intelligence to see it.

No fail on my part.

So basically there's no point in knowledge, or striving to obtain knowledge. Leazes was right :panic:

By observation of the path of the sun.

You have just proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, you don't understand what you're talking about man.

Obtaining knowledge in your field of work and everyday life is fine.

Obtaining knowledge of space can be interesting to many people as in studying the movement of stars and planets and what not.

Obtaining knowledge in reference to men landing on the moon is science fiction.

No Fish, I've just given you a simplistic insight into observation of the suns movement against the moon over time periods that eventually lead to a solar eclipse.

I gave my answer in the running track theory.

All this is a four hundred year old tax fiddle started by the Italians remember. It's been very good of the USA to keep it going, what a marvellous example of international cooperation. Puts the ISS to shame. Or at least it would do, if it existed.

I have no discrimination against any people, whether clever, dumb, average, colour or nationality. I do have a problem with bullshit merchants when it comes to taking the total piss out of the public by force feeding us magical space bullshit.

Further proving you don't know what you're talking about.

Also, a Radio relay network couldn't supply the kind of coverage we're receiving from the satellite constellation. I know what I'm talking about, this is my job.

Are you calling me a liar?

The bigger the lie, the more people will, believe it.

Or, you're wrong?

And given the mountains of facts, the innumerate learned minds, the demonstrable theories, the easily replicated experiments, the clearly observable evidence... I'm going to go with all of that, rather than the wild and baseless suppositions of a man who isn't even sure of his own theory.

One thing I would ask, never again state that you "know 100%" anything as it makes a mockery of '100%' and of 'knowing'. You've, at best, a distrust of the intelligent.

I can't call you or anyone a liar. You have been schooled in life like we all have. You were trained to do your job like we all were.

An aircraft mechanic could be so adept at fixing planes that he could do it blindfolded, yet he might know jack shit about flying one.

When you get a puppy, you train it to go and do it business outside and train it to sit for reward. Eventually as the dog grows up, it knows your commands inside out and will protect you with it's life.

If someone comes along and tries to teach it differently to what you taught it, it will play ignorance because it's life is dedicated to you and your commands.

We are trained in exactly the same type of way.

If you do your homework on time and answer the questions that they tell you are correct, you get a pat on the back or a gold star or even a lolly in some cases, right up to a certificate that makes you smile and beam like the dog wagging it's tail when it does good.

We all like to think we are smart by what we achieve in whatever subject we choose to focus on but in 99.9% of cases, it's all been schooled into us and we are programmed to respond.

It's the reason we have armies. They will be trained and march in formation and fight to the death against another trained soldier. They know how to strip their rifles down and use them efficiently. They take orders and obey them. If they disobey, they are punished.

They will go to war in any country and fight for years against other armies without actually knowing what they are fighting against, except what they were told is a war on TERROR.

We are simply programmed skin and bone robots that follow orders and absorb and use what we have been programmed to use.

How many people have heard the saying. " you are not paid to think, You are paid to work."

In bullshit science, people are the opposite because they are paid to think up the next round of bullshit but it doesn't apply to all science. Just the science that is needed to cream off the excess dollars out of the generous public.

It's easy to see why people will not question authority as a dog doesn't question it's master.

But you do think it's pointless.

It depends on how it's looked at. It's excellent for an astronomer to view the sky as it's a hobby.

It's good for people to wonder about what the universe it and theorise on it.

What is pointless, is the constant stream of crap we are fed of going to Mars and being on the moon and sending probes billions of miles into space and waiting for signals coming back. It's a pure insult to our intelligence as far as I'm concerned.

I am 100% sure in my own mind that the moon landings are fake.

I don't have any distrust of the intelligent as intelligence is what every person has, it just happens to be in a different form.

A boffin could design you a kitchen but he might not have the know how to fit that kitchen. Who's the more intelligent? Him or the fitter?

Answer the question. How can scientists predict within millionths of a second where and when the next eclipse of the sun will take place using the standard model of the solar system if this model is bogus?

You've never answered any questions about retrograde planetary motion yet either.
