McFaul 35
Hoilett, Klasnic, Bosingwa and Nelsen would all dee as back up, although three of their ages don't fit in with the policy.
toonotl 3114
Spot on with Hoilett he's a good player. There are a few good players on that list. Andy Johnson, Kalou & Scharner in addition the ones you mentioned. Although I can't see Nelson going on much longer he's about 35 or something isn't he? toonotl 3114
Kalou is a great player. If he went somewhere where he was playing every week I think he'd be very successful. He's at least as good as Sinclair from Swansea and he has been doing well. Don't agree on Rodallega though his scoring record is abysmal from memory. Monroe Transfer 0
Some of the players in that list are technically released but are likely to stay with their clubs, they're just working on deals for them iirc (like Pogrebnyak). Kalou is a great player. If he went somewhere where he was playing every week I think he'd be very successful. Must have been watching a different player to me. I know a lot of Chelsea fans don't rate him. He'd want big wages too. Edited June 2, 2012 by Monroe Transfer

I think he is a quality player. I have a bias towards pacy players though so perhaps that swayed its a bit. You're right about the wages though. He's not worth the wages he would demand. toonotl 3114
I've heard that Michael Owen can grab a few goals I could see him turning out for one of the oiled up middle east teams, in China or for that super rich Russian outfit.

He'll pocket £100k + per week while he hobbles back to Chester for the races every week on his crutches
The Fish 10972
I could see him turning out for one of the oiled up middle east teams, in China or for that super rich Russian outfit. As long as he doesn't begin a Media career. Wouldn't be surprised to see Barton appearing on tv and radio shows while he's suspended
toonotl 3114
Barton on the telly wouldn't surprise me in the least. He'd probably be pretty entertaining too as loud mouthed idiots often are.
Kevin S. Assilleekunt 1
I saw Robbie Savage interview Mancini after the title win in a cafe. He'd ask him a question, then as he answered, he'd be fiddling about on his phone tweeting something or whatever he was doing. He wants fucking shooting. Andrew 4863
Just been informed that hoilett won't be free, as he's under 24 he'd cost between 3 and 5 million set by tribunal for any English club
toonotl 3114
That wouldn't be bad value in isolation although we have a recent history of getting better (alot better) for that money.
