Park Life 71
Script all the way mate. As others have said it feel like some chunks of it are sitting on the cutting room floor and as such it kinds just bangs along without filling in a lot of blanks. Don't want to say too much but there's a couple of 'reveals' which you will see coming half an hour before hand. As you'd expect from Sir Rid it's beautiful to look at though. Jonas has hit it on the head, there's just something missing for me, can't put my finger on what exactly but he's right when he says it doesn't have that punch. Also was it just me or was it too light (both in terms of tone and aesthetic)? other than when they're in the structure everything looks a bit too sunny and nice for my liking. Oh and the music is proper gash anarl. There's a lot of pressure these days to keep things under 2 hrs and that might explain some of the gaps (grasping at straws). It sounds like it looks beautiful but there is a certain 'aura' missing. Not enough 'darkness' and the mysteries that holds.

Bonamental 0
Quite enjoyed it. But then I've only seen Alien etc once or twice each ages ago, and I'm not a particular Ridley Scott fanboy or whatever, so didn't have any particular expectations. Couple of questions though: .... Or I would if I could find the bloody spoiler tags.

Brock Manson 0
Seeing Prometheus tonight. Will go in with an open mind and see if it's any decent. Will be watching in 3D but doubt i'll bother in future, ridiculously expensive!
Brock Manson 0
I enjoyed it! Alright one or two bits of the story seemed to be pulled together a little and the old man's costume was dreadful, but still a lot better than what all the negative reviews would have me believe. Michael Fassbender was brilliant in it!

LoveTheBobby 1
Ta. Thought it'd be pushing £20. Weighing up if its worth travelling to the God-awful Metro Centre for their IMAX or catch it more locally.

Happy Face 29
Just watched Prometheus with lowered expectations from the Lukewarm reception it had received. Thought it was fucking champion.

Honestly I think people were going into it expecting all of the answers in the first outing.
luckyluke 2
Ridley Scott can construct a good 100 minutes of thriller but he's a shit storyteller who needs to get out of his own arse. Prometheus being a prime example.
