Holden McGroin 6783
Well he did struggle to adapt at first. He didnt look good at all. He was superb on Sat. Really looked like the player we had expected. He is a red card waiting to happen though.
aimaad22 4222
He did struggle, but you could still see there was a player in there somewhere who could be top class given some time. Patience doesnt go hand in hand with modern football. Thankfully in this case we stuck with him. Edited December 9, 2013 by aimaad22
Tom 14013
He didn't perform in a struggling side - and I don't think he was that bad in all honesty.
Christmas Tree 4826
Nice that he's come good. Hard not to tie his improvement with Ben Arfas absense. Be interesting to see how he performs should Hatem get back in.
Tom 14013
Yeah it's as simple as that CT. He's the Premier Leagues form right back because Hatem is not in front of him. Fucking hell.

Don't be such a dullard Tom. Nobody is saying it is that simple, however having more defensive minded players ahead of him will undoubtly help his game and allow him to feel more confident going forward which all combined leads to a more confident player. Simplistic of you to dismiss the two.
Tom 14013
I gave you this argument regarding Santon/Jonas so you're preaching to the choir but Debuchy's upturn in form is more to do with his own game than him sitting back or doubling up. You could plonk your fat arse in front of Debuchy and it probably wouldn't affect his form at the moment. He's top draw. Some people knew this already like... ChezGiven 0
TS has got it the wrong way round, its the attacker that's meant to come inside when taking him on.
trophyshy 7084
Shirley that would be pon the right hand side? Unless you expect the attacker to imagine he is in the third person behind Debuchy facing himself? And why not, it's Christmas after all.

Howmanheyman 33837
How many goal line clearances has he made then? As much as Simpson? (He looks much better with some PL experience behind him )
JonTheMag 4
Made one great sliding tackle near the end where he cleanly won the ball, regained possession, and started running up the field. Surely is one of the best right backs in the League right now.

donaldstott 0
Classic example of someone who needed time to settle in to a new league. He's been instrumental in our good run of form. You can also see why he was such a fans favourite at Lille, he works very hard.
Tom 14013
His work rate is immense. Also notable is that his average position is often the half way line. Statistically (!) the best performing right back in Europe this season.
