Dr Gloom 21965
Finn is better than Bresnan... We shouldn't pick our bowlers for their batting, which is the only reason you would pick Bresnan over Finn bresnan gets it to swing more though so you'd think trent bridge would suit him more than finn, who's more of a hit the deck hard bowler. i'd play bresnan as an all rounder personally and revert to 5 bowlers. prior is easily good enough to play at number 6. broad, bresnan and swan at 7,8 and 9 would be fine. with finn or onions at 10 and anderson at jack. 4 bowlers has worked well recently but south africa will be a different proposition to the windies. RobH 0
I don't particularly rate Finn, he doesn't do a huge deal with it, he's not wheels at that level and he tends to be expensive. Slightly biased but I think Onions is better than both of them plus he's been tearing it up in the Championship.

luckyluke 2
Finn looked lively over the winter, hitting 90-95 mph regularly, which apart from wrist spin is the one thing England's attack lacks, express pace.

Pace isn't going to trouble anyone on English early summer decks though. I'd agree if we were in SA or AUS
