Keegan...?

I['d rather wor lass shagged a black pornstar with a 13 and a half inch cock that Keegan went there. I'd feel beyond violated.

My feeling for weeks is this, I think Rafa Benitez will be appointed their manager. Disaster that Dalglish has been sacked though really, he is without doubt THE worst manager that club has ever had this time, worse even than Souness.

Reckon they'll try to get Capello.

The supporters are baying for Rafa. He'll do a decent job, but can't compete with the new money paradigm. Capello would have a hard time there, not a good communicator. I guess Martinez and Rodgers are outside bets. They should go for Klopp.

Wonder if they'll carry on with that incessant "on the fields of Anfield Road" ditty any more.

"and could he play!" - maybe, but he's a shit manager!!

 good crack Craig

What a thoroughly undignified way to end a 35 year association with Britain's most despised club. We could not have written this seasons script any better.

FSG rumoured to be demanding a man under the age of 45. That would rule out Rafa, Mourinho, et al.

Strong shout for Carragher with an experienced backup apparently

Weldy made a good call on the phone, we're not completely secure to keep Pardew if they doubled his salary and gave him a £50m budget.

It won't be Tinkerman or AVB who have worse seasons this year given their resources, then JFK, Roeder or even Souness have ever had. It'll be Rafa. Thought it for weeks, months even.

Still lives on the Wirral doesn't he?

You;d have thought they'd learned their lesson about going back though. Appoint the manager who last won the league and sack him 11 months later when they realise he's out of touch then replace him with the one who last won them the CL.

You might be right.

However Rafa has a stubborn streak in him which will implode the relationship with the yanks at some given point.

Kenny met with Liverpool owners and told him they wanted him to put himself in the fan's shoes... Which is why he's now unemployed.

The media's wank fest over these cunts makes my blood boil.

5Live are discussing them at the moment and their talking about how they need a bigger stadium to contend with the likes of Man Ure & Arsenal. They cant even fill their stadium as it is FFS.

They have been speaking for 40mins or so and not 1 scourser has called up yet. All their fans appear to be from Birmingham and regually attend matches, yeh, FUCK off.

I'd imagine Pards would want to finish what he's started at NUFC first. Are Liverpool really a more attractive prospect than we are at the moment?

Their squad is full of distinctly average players and they've been carried for years by Gerrard (who isn't getting any younger). It's been the first time in an age where we've had a better squad, which I honestly believe we'll still have at the end of the next transfer window. We're a club that's potentially on the up, so why would Pards want to leave?

I doubt there'd be a significant war chest to play with at liverpool anyway given how much they've wasted on transfer fees in the past couple of seasons.
