Christmas Tree 4729
Think this might be knocked on the head before its started. Had a look around a few forums today and it looks as though even the experts who weigh out there own ingredients etc have trouble trying to imitate a good wheat beer. Cant really see the point if Im going to end up with 40 pints of fosters etc. Edited May 8, 2012 by Christmas Tree

Christmas Tree 4729
Maybe not! While I may not be able to come up with a constant supply of home made Erdinger or Leffe, I may be able to find a nice Merlot wine or a refreshing Kopparberg cider. It would also be wrong of me to leave any hobby without at least wasting some money.
Kitman 2207
If I had the spare cash would open up a sausage shop. Yes, I'm sure Germans would be keen on buying sausages from an Englishman

Christmas Tree 4729
Might be half decent seeing as Coopers make some lush beers. Really. Thats good to know. From what Ive researched in the last few weeks I think the whole home brewing thing has changed dramtically since the crap offered up in the 70's and 80's. Quite a few of the breweries are offering a home brew route, even more so if you are a real ale fella. 30p a pint as well.
trophyshy 7083
That box is about 40 pints so it only cost £12? Where from?
Gemmill 44992
Don't you have to drink then canny quick before it goes off? With what he had for tea last night and now this home brew thing, I think it's safe to say that CT is about to have one of his growth spurts. My dad had some home brew lager in the garage from when I was around 7 years old, I started drinking it about 13 and thought it was canny enough, still had fizz and everything.
