aimaad22 4222
Agree with I'm Mad. I think we'll miss out on 4th (very likely) but fuck up Man City's party in the process. That said, Man Utd might drop points at the mackems (to be honest though, I think they'll only fail to win at Sunderland if they need City to drop points on the last day. If a win would guarantee them the title, I think think they'll have the nouse and experience to get it).

BestBaNone 0
Pardew talking about the importance of finishing fifth rather than sixth in the papers today. Means nowt really but he probably knows the game is up on the CL. Or trying to be astute and take the pressure off

TicTacWoe 0
Oh the hilarity if Spurs do finish 4th and then lose the CL spot if Chelsea beat Bayern. Harry's face might sag into oblivion.
Baggio 0
Arsenal have only picked up 2 points in their last 3 games and their form isn't great, fingers crossed that form continues.
Gemmill 46076
I have to admit, I thought the season was gonna peter out after the Wigan game. And I don't care what anyone says, if we'd picked up 1 point from the last three games or something like that, it would have taken a bit of the shine off the season and "put us back in our place" a bit in the eyes of a lot of people. Should have known better with this lot tbh - keeping this up and going to Stamford Bridge and winning fairly comfortably is mental and sets us up perfectly for these last two games. Having been concerned about the shine being taken off, I now feel like regardless of what happens in the last two, that win last night prevents the "get back in your box" brigade from piping up and keeps the momentum going into the summer. Who knows what they'll serve up in the last two games anyway, this is just a completely different Newcastle United to what any of us are used to. JawD 99
What a massive lift for the next game. Last home game of the season. It's written now that we will beat city and then get best off Everton Joking aside, I didn't think we would get 4th as couldn't see Spurs dropping points. I still can't. But I hadn't considered Arsenal. At WBA for their last game could be tricky.

brummiemag1 0
It is a 3 horse race but you wouldn't think so looking at the bookies odds for a top 4 finish. Bet 365 have Arsenal 1/20, Spurs 1/5 and us at 3/

Baggio 0
Even though we've got a good chance with only 2 games to go I don't feel any pressure on us or that it will be a failure if we don't make it, it's a nice feeling to be where we are whatever the outcome. DEADMAN 0
yea same here we have done well this season and i think we should be all proud really i couldnt care less if we make it or loose 4th place. would be a nice bonus but it would be tuff

loonyTOON 10
Think Spurs have 4th nailed on - can't see them lossing their remaining games I don't agree. They have one average game which the should win and a very tough game for final day of the season. Fulham are the defense specialists of the league, and have scalped a couple of big teams, namely us and chelsea. I think Tottingham will draw both games. So I still think we can still lose to Man CIty and still make 4th.
Craig 6700
First off we definitely need a Liverpool win tomorrow night. If that happens, Chelsea cannot catch us whatever happens. Follow that with this happening next Sunday: Everton 0-1 Newcastle Tottenham 1-1 Fulham West Brom 1-0 Arsenal And 3rd place is ours! Long shot but most definitely possible. Believe..... Stranger things have definitely happened! Been a funny old premiership season, and its so difficult to predict what teams like Arsenal will do. But being in with a chance on the final day is brilliant in itself!

loonyTOON 10
I do think they'll be a twist this weekend. I do think Fulham will get something from the game, as I do think West Brom have it in them to beat Arsenal. But saying that, Everton is not an easy place to go and get a result. Personally I think we'll just pip Tottingham. Theres more pressure on the two teams above than there is on us.
