trophyshy 7084
What Pardew has achieved is nothing short of remarkable and so with the England role still vacant it's not unfeasible that the FA might offer him the top job. And Pardew might find it very difficult to turn down. Anyone with common sense would say give him a few more years and perhaps prove he can win something, but the FA are a fickle enigma. Ashley, never one to miss an opportunity, would likely want to take their eyes out if he was to lose him. 4 years left on the contract, all the potential earnings from European football, what would compensate? £20m? £30m? more? What price Pardew now? Edited April 21, 2012 by trophyshy
Gemmill 46065
Having laughed in people's faces earlier in the season, it is a slight concern now like. Especially with Redknapp's tax/heart problems. I'd still be very surprised if anyone other than Redknapp gets offered it.

What price Pardew now? Why Pardew rather than Redknapp? I can't see the FA going for Pardew tbh, I suspect Ashley would be equally as money grabbing for Pards as Levy would for Harry. TicTacWoe 0
hard to tell if he would. England managers earn around 1 million pounds per nanosecond so I could imagine he might be tempted. Edited April 21, 2012 by TicTacWoe
Dr. Richard Kimble 0
I was watching a newspaper review with David Davies the other night (old FA guy) and he said he was next to certain it would be Redknapp. Put your bets down for it to be Pardew then. Baggio 0
I take it being happy to flap your gums to the press at every opportunity and having your boy as a pundit on sky sports has bought Redknapp plenty of time with journos, there's hardly been anything made in the press about Spurs collapse in the second half of the season at all. Christmas Tree 4841
Must admit I was having a good old worry about this on the metro coming home. Even the FA arnt daft and will have noted that he ticks a hell of a lot of boxes for them. Be nice to have some stability at SJP for many years to come.
