Grandma's House

Did anyone watch this last night? It was the 1st episode of series 2.

1st series was really good and last nights was even better... reminds me a bit of a slightly more intellectual Him & Her (for anyone who's seen that).

Highly recommend if you fancy something a little different and funny.

Saw a lot of the first series but didn't catch the new one the other night. Really like him as a comic and really enjoyed the first series. Going to iPlayer it later in the week!

Yeah would definately recommend watching it on iPlayer... I loved the 1st series but thought this episode was even better :)

I've always found his 'brand' of humour quite appealing and I think he's very spontaneous-funny, but isn't he supposed to be an appallingly massive twat in real life?

Hard to accept after first seeing him with Mikita Oliver as I thought they were really class for young presenters.

Not heard that tbh but he is pretty intellegent and so possibly that may make him a bit of a knob when speaking to people who aren't. I have a mate who's very intellegent and although mainly sound, there are times when you just can't help feeling like giving him a great big slap around his condecending face! :)

aye he's meant to be a total dick, basically he tried to be lamarr i think after getting the buzzcocks gig but can't quite pull it off.

i do think he's funny mind, although i didn't take to grandma's house at all, thought the first couple episodes i watched were awful to be honest.

I wouldn't say it's immediately funny, more once you get to know the characters you start to warm to the comedy aspect of it. It's a bit like Him and Her (dunno if you've seen that show?) where it's about their interacation with each other that's funny rather than any stand out slapstick jokes

Quite like what I've seen of it. Rebecca Front is a great bit of casting. Amstell is unquestionably a bit of a dick but I like him all the same. I suppose being humiliated on Gamesmaster as a kid would scar you for life.
