Gene_Clark 12
Big drinker and poor trainer according to Man City supporting mate. all he needs to do is line his pockets from a "charity testimonial" & he'll be the ideal replacement for the last horrible cunt they signed from citeh
Tooj 17
Johnson would've been a decent addition to our squad, but squad only as there's no way he could dislodge Ben Arfa as like him he is best cutting in from the right. Plus due to other wide options there's no way we would pay his reported wages for him not to be guaranteed a game, likewise he would never have came here for both of those reasons. Let's not kid ourselves him and Fletcher are both big improvements to their squad and yes they have overpaid but teams at that level have to to bring these players in. I can't say that I'm losing any sleep over these two signing and tbh I'll probably forget about it in about 10 minutes as they'll be an irrelevance on our season again, and I haven't read RTG but I can imagine there'll be loads of posts of them either gloating, posting joint XI's with both Johnson and Fletcher starting or saying how jealous we are of them. That's the difference between us and them, their sole ambition in their squalid little lives is to get one over on usc whereas we tend to not care about them until Derby week. If we make any signings of significance over the next week the last thing I will be thinking about is that the Mackems will be jealous of us. 2bias 3
The only thing that annoys me about the cunts signing Johnson is they will think they got on over us....yet is he really that good and I wouldn't be surprised if they paid 10+ million. sweetleftpeg 0
Great signing for the mackems Johnson like, really fancy him as a footballer. I'm not saying I would have wanted us to spend the money and wages on him, but I'd rather he'd have fucked off somewhere else other than them. The only saving grace is how much they've wanked on Fletcher.

Looks good on highlight reels but is horribly inconsistent and is one of those that other fans rate higher than those who he plays for. Probably like when every fucker was telling us all how great Jenas was when we all knew he was shite.
Gemmill 46027
I'm pretty relaxed about this. Good player, but there's always a risk when a player effectively fails at a bigger club and moves to a less fashionable one. They could find they've signed themselves a big time Charlie here. Baggio 0
I don't think any of their summer signings would get into our starting 11 however Johnson is a big improvement on what they've got.

That's been the knock on the lad for a long time, tons of talent crap attitude. Archetypal "British" footballer. Kid Dynamite 7169
I think it's fair to say this is the first player I can remember them signing that I would have in our team/squad. Fair play to them. Fingers crossed theres a reason he's been overlooked for so many England squads/Man City games over the past 2 years.

Lake Bells tits 1
If his ideal position is right, he wouldnt be a starter for us. HBA is miles better. Im biased but I genuinly believe Hatem could start for any side in the world. Out of the 1987 generation, Nasri Ben Arfa and Benzema were the golden boys - and HBA was considered the biggest talent. I have no idea how we got this lad.

The French side are missing out on his talent riddled as they are with innner polticking.
Lake Bells tits 1
Remember he went on alot of clever runs during the Euros. Not a single fecking pass, france was ribery nasri and benzema playing 3-a-side refusing to pass to anyone else. Nuri sahin signed, 5 million euro fee for a 1-year loan without a buyout clause... plus wages. Going to cost them 10 million Euros all in probably and he will fuck off after the season. For their sake I hope he delivers because that is one expensive loan

I'll probably get slated from any Mackems reading this, but the other night was the first time I've seen Messi play in the flesh and he honestly did remind me of HBA. Obviously HBA isn't anywhere near as consistent as Messi yet but the way he just decides to run at people and leave the ball hanging there long enough to give the opposition the false hope to dive in. Dribbling is a dying art in England for some reason and we have a real superstar in Ben Arfa who can and does make the difference so often in tight games.
