Kid Dynamite 6961
A lot of money for a player who probably has 1 season at his peak left. Should give them a massive push towards the title now though
Brock Manson 0
I wonder if that just paid for their spending or it will be reinvested? Where is the Van Persie money??? I don't rate Song at all, he seemed to do nowt but scoop the ball over RVP's head last season. If they can get £12m (apparently what Barca value him at) then it'll be an absolute steal. Might be difficult for them to reinvest £30m this late in the window. Unless we've quoted a price for Tiote. [/safety wink]
Monroe Transfer 0
They've already invested heavily, presumably because they knew Van Persie was always likely to leave.
jonasjuice 0
No no no no noooooo Song is quality, their second best player last season imo. Of the little I saw anyway quick look on wiki says 11 assists though which is non too shabby especially with his defensive work thrown in. They'd probably use him ala masch, as a cb who isn't a cb
Park Life 71
It's all coming together. Spurs and Arsenal weakened, Liv being run by a bloke who loves photocopying huge war and peace like tombs of football training thingies... Not entirely sure this Giroud thing is going to work out and Poldolski gets moody. Edited August 15, 2012 by Park Life

Man CIty with their egos... The title will be ours this season.
The Fish 10663
RVP gets a better chance of silverware Man U get a wonderful talent and a chance to evolve their strike force Arsenal get £24m for a 29yr old after an anomalous season

sweetleftpeg 0
Bang on for RVP to get injured early doors and be out for most of the season. Easiest £24m Arsenal have ever made.
Kevin Carr's Gloves 3788
I am going to predict RVP gets less than 20 goals in the league this season.
Kid Dynamite 6961
Mackems signing injury prone, 34 year old Saha today apparently. It just keeps getting better!
JawD 99
Tbf they need people who can bag goals and he can. Even if it just tides them over for one season.

Kid Dynamite 6961
If he's not injured.. He's only managed more than 24 games in a season once in the last 13 years He also played the whole first half of the season with Everton last year and scored 1 goal. I'm not particularly worried

wykikitoon 19804
I dunno who tweeted it, but for the past 3 season Saha has actually played over 30 games a season, so not that injuary prone.
toonotl 2916
Do they rate Conner Wickham at all? Seems the kid won't be getting many games. He seems a decent talent from what I've seen.

He's not prolific, neither is Fletcher. Honestly, they'd have been better trying to convince Kevin Phillips to rejoin them imo. I'm not worried about that strike force to be honest,
