It was to do with Munich then the media coverage and it's just snowballed.

They dont have one main sugardaddy, but they do have plenty of sugardaddies who have absolutely FUCK ALL to do with Manchester, the area or any relatives with a MUFC connection and are widespread and buy the merchandise which the sponsors clock and pay MUFC accordingly. ITV once apologised, (it was Des Lynam) for putting us on the main channel instead of them as we still had something to play for whereas Man U didn't, ITV also admit they will ALWAYS get the main game barring exceptional circumstances as they'll receive more money from the half time break adverts. They are artificially supported just in a different manner to the likes of Chelsea, Man City and Blackburn were, and be in no doubt, they think we were artificially helped when KK was here as in their minds John Hall bought all our players.

Stevie is the only uber geordie I know who is in love with Man U/Fergie/Colleen

Who do you prefer Man Utd or Liverpool and why? This isn't just a question to the 30 something owld cunt birthday boy, but anyone.

I totally get what Stevie says there's just the danger that although they are undoubtedly the biggest club in Britain people start to peddle a few pro-Man U myths or facts.

Are they owned by a Sugardaddy? No.

Do they have the most support? Yes.

Are they holier than thou? Are they fuck.

Respect the club and the manager, (although he's a talker of shite when it suits his club) but they've been helped along for fifty years in my opinion.

I couldn't stand Liverpool when they were winning titles and can't stand their (many) ex-players and think they are totally over represented in the media of this country.

I never liked Man U and thought they were a bunch of hacking bastards as a kid watching them, above all I can't abide the gloryhunters they attract, there's a sadsack who walks around where I live, must be around his early forties, I've NEVER seen him without some kind of Man U clothing and he will usually wear a scruffy white top with 19 and champions on the back. With this bloke it's a mixture of pity laughing to be honest.

You have to respect what Liverpool and Man U have achieved on the pitch but they're not special cases and can both fuck right off for me when some of their fans come out with their shit.

The difference for me is Liverpool's support is fickle as fuck. Regular 30,000 gates under Houlier, even on the back of two CL finals within the last 6 years, 34,000 gates under Woy because things weren't going well. Man Utd didn't win the league for 26 years and still got 45,000 every week rain and shine. Man Utd's local support is the biggest in the country, people can peddle as many myths as they want but it is, for every OOT at OT, there's 6 or 7 locals. You go to Anfield it's a complete joke, the only way you can tell the ones who aren't OOT's is they are more poorly dressed. I bet there are 65,000 locals at OT every week, maybe 28,000 at Anfield. You have to respect that.

I fully respect what Liverpool have achieved but do think they still live on that and think they are bigger than they actually are in the current scheme of things. As working class areas go you can draw similarities between the two areas (Newcastle & Liverpool) but they definitely carry a hard done to attitude. You would be a fool to not have a massive respect for Man Utd as a team but I just cannot stand their fans. In fact, its not just the fans its mancunians in general. Every time I have met or had any involvement with a manc I come away with the same opinion. Never have I met a group of people with such a high regard for themselves. Its a trait that irritates me. One of my best footballing moments was last season when I was in the home end at OT when HBA got a pen that shouldnt have been and then they thought they scored at the end but didnt. They were giving it large to me and my mate when they thought they had scored. We all know what happened next.

I like Mancs, great to deal with in business, generally funny, unlike scousers.

By the way that penalty at OT, it must've been our first in about 30 years there.

Weird that actually, I have just been watching The Premiership Years 2003/04, and completely forgot about the penalty we should've had when Howard tripped up Shearer in the box.

Blatant penalty that. We were the better side that day, Jenas hit the bar too, 0-0 I think.

Difference was you never got a week of double spread pieces in the papers going on about the 'injustice' like you did when Ben Arfa got the decision. Also never heard a fucking peep when Ferdinand fouled Ba in the box in front of Webb up at St. James' Park, not a fucking peep from Fergie or his press mates.

Joe Allen's twitter

Medical completed with Liverpool. I am now officially a #LFC player..☺

I'm not a fan of Liverpool at all but I really don't understand this signing. They have Henderson who cost them £20 Million who is around the same age and plays in the same position, a lot of competition for places in that midfield this season.

You have to bare in mind that Henderson's fucking wank like!

Mind you, as J69 says Allen did fuck all at the olympics. It's fightening how much they're spending such players.

Then again it's not like the Dalglish signings of last season as the new manager has actually worked with Allen so he must have some idea of the potential.

Just looking at their midfield players on wiki and I can't see Henderson getting in that squad at all. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes.

Why are you so obsessive about us? You have a very ugly mind and god help anyone who betters you in the workplace or social side of life, lies seem to be your stock in trade.

I was one of the ST boycotters under Hodgson just like thousands of others. He was appointed for the wrong reasons, he showed no sign of building up a manager/fan relationship, his interviews were the most cringeworthy I've heard from a manager and on top of that he had the team playing the most turgid football I've ever seen LFC play. If he'd been appointed because he was the best man for the job the fans would have stuck with him, he wasn't, he was appointed because he was a yes man, and I have no regret in helping to get rid of him.

You've peddled the attendances shiiite for a long time now. Our averages don't show a great deal of change over the years but for some reason you go to the trouble of looking up single gates to try and add more bile to your bigoted views. It would hardly be regular 30,000 gates under Houllier if the averages are pretty much the same each season of his tenure.

Your research into Man U's attendances and the locality of their fans is admirable, proving yet again that your aptitude for creating your own myths is as strong as ever.

Man United have been the best supported club for a long time and all credit to them, but attendances don;t interest me that much, I leave that to people like yourself who wear it as a badge because they've got nothing else to shout about. Me, I'm more bothered that Man U may take over our 8 European trophy haul.

The London clubs seem to be among the best supported of all time, although Everton have a great showing in the early days.

Intredesting

A lot of that doesn't make sense to me, some of those '%' seem to be there where they shouldn't. Also Cabaye has a lower cross and pass percentage but 3x the amount of assists :unsure2:
