Christmas Tree 4821
NEWCASTLE United are set to break new ground by becoming the first team in the Premier League to produce their official matchday programme in 3D. The effect covers over 80 per cent of the programme for tomorrow’s game with Stoke. Only two sporting clubs have tried this style in the past, with Millwall and Irish rugby union giants Leinster both producing 3D programmes with great success. Now, alongside programme producers O Publishing, the Magpies have become the first top-flight club to go down the 3D route, and they’re hoping it’ll be a big hit with the Toon Army this Saturday. Priced at £3, the programme, complete with special 3D glasses, will be on sale in the Official Club Store and around the ground.
