Great Comebacks

You could name loads of good football ones, but I think in one particular incident the best come back was Nigel Benn against Gerald McLellan. Benn was put on his arse in the first, then again in the eighth knocked sparko, but he fought back and won in the tenth. McLellan has lived with the effects of the fight to this day, he's got severe brain damage. There's a good documentary about it for anyone that's interested.

Great fight that. Live on ITV wasn't it?

Id love to have seen an episode of The Thick of It which referenced that, or Malcolm Tucker watching it live

peter mandelson was a decent effort too. to come back from disgrace twice takes some doing. been trying to dig out that 'i'm a fighter not a quitter' speech but couldn't find it. that was one hell of a toe curler like
