McFaul 35
Bluemoon has knobheads. In other news water is wet, grass is green, fergie is an alcoholic Wouldn't take it as a sample of all City fans, the vast majority are the same people who were going 13 years ago. Wasn't bad four or five years ago because it was full of people from Manchester. Your OOT clueless support is getting bigger though, more foreigners than owt else it seems, who wouldn't know their Michel Vonk's from their Bernardo Corradi's. The Fish 10855
Some proposed questions for Everton Every season Moyes is complimented on a difficult job done well. Without financial backing, how long do you think he'll stay? Jelavic has come in and scored a hatful straight away, is he the striker you've been waiting years for? Or has his haul masked a bit of good fortune? Has Liverpool's absolute shitter of a season taken attention from your good season? Baines is (again) being linked with "big clubs", are you worried about losing him? Pienaar's ill-fated move to Spurs surprised a few, but his return to Goodison and return to form was even more surprising. What the Hell happened there? Will Hibbert ever score? How much of this season is down to the management team and how much is it due to the players? What's a realistic aim for Man City next season? Where do Man City need to strengthen to achieve this? Who has been your player of the season? What has been your biggest frustration this season (can be performances, players, opposition, media, fans, anything)? Which managers have impressed you this season? Which Premier League Players have stood out? Which are your danger men that we should be looking out for? Which Newcastle players are you worried about? Which have been your 2 stand out games this season? (One involving Man City, one without) Which fans have impressed you the most/least? And finally what do you predict the score to be? StevenL 0
Isn't it a myth that Everton spend no money on players? I admit they're punching above their weight in terms of how much the teams around them spend but they always seem to spend £8m+ on a player per season. TicTacWoe 0
Isn't it a myth that Everton spend no money on players? I admit they're punching above their weight in terms of how much the teams around them spend but they always seem to spend £8m+ on a player per season. Before the last transfer window they literally went over 2 years without spending a fee over half a million on a player or something mental like that. They do pay decent fees occasionally (Fellaini was fairly pricey and that Russian guy who didn't work out too well) but in general they do a fantastic job in terms of signings and performances. BigWalrus 0
Everton spend their money on WAGES. They have a huge wagebill, when you consider their players. In all honesty though, it's a reasonably sensible tactic, as spending a shit load on a transfer fee doesn't get you off the hook with the wages, so chucking an extra million on a player salary can be more economical. Fellaini being one of their examples. Arguably their most important player, he's earning a shed load that other clubs (other than Man City / Chelsea) could realistically offer, and he's only about 23. The Fish 10855
Having a grand old time with the Everton fans who are bothered if we're considered a big club by Talksport fans. i tend to judge things by league titles won. i'd say sunderland ARE a bigger club than newcatle, what with having more league titles to their name. cups are a poor way to judge things, if you ask me. a few lucky games can see you to a final. a league is over many games. p.s. if the league thing were true you'd have to agree that Wolves are bigger than Spurs, that Burnley are bigger than Forest and that Huddersfield and Blackburn are as big as Man City

Jelavic is a good signing like, and they financed that through selling the Russian.
The Fish 10855
Questions for Chelsea Now that Drogba has gone, is Torres the man to take up the mantle? Is this to be a season of evolution from the Old Guard (Drogba, Malouda, Kalou), to the new (Hazard, Oscar, Torres)? Do you think DiMatteo is the right man to take the club forward? Or was his winning the Champions League and the FA Cup just a case of being in the right place at the right time? Which Chelsea player do you predict will have a big season? Which Chelsea player do you predict will have a disappointing season? What's a realistic aim for Chelsea this season? Where have you strengthened to achieve this? Who will win the Premier League this year and why? How do you see the top 6 panning out? and why? Which teams will be relegated and why? Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Who will be your danger man/men against Newcastle? Which Newcastle players are you worried about? Finally, what do you reckon the score will be? Any more for any more? Edited August 20, 2012 by The Fish
