Baggio 0
They've been 10-12pts ahead of us for a lot of this year! Looking at the last 10 games next to the league table on the bbc site we've made up 10 points on them in the last 10 games.
Alex 35571
Anyone know how many points Spurs were ahead of us earlier in the season? This is a good site: http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2011-2012/table Use the drop downs to select the table at different stages in the season. Brock Manson 0
I reckon Shit, miss out on third. My head says we'll finish 5th as I think Spurs will hit form again. But my heart is wondering whether I should save up some days holiday for a trip to Milan next season.

JonTheMag 4
Gonna be in England for july and August anyway, so I would've missed the US tour anyway. Im there until August 22nd though, so I should be able to go to the first game of the season!

JawD 99
Some really tough games coming like. Stoke at home I expect to win. But then two tough in form sides away from home. Then Man City. Id love to think we could make top 4 but we need Chelsea to slip up and Spurs poor form continue.
Alex 35571
Strangely I think if Man City still have a realistic chance of winning the league then we'll beat them. I think their recent upturn in form is more about the pressure being off than Tevez coming back (although that has obviously helped). I think there's a good chance they'll bottle it again. Dr Gloom 22143
we've definitely got one of the toughest run ins so it'll be some feat if we do pull it off. chelsea, man city then everton is a tough way to finish the season.

LeazesMag 0
a conundrum, could do well in europe and suffer the effects in the league or vice versa better in than out you should build up the team, and the squad by not selling anybody, and compete on all 4 fronts. Europe is no excuse for a club like NUFC to drop down from the league position. If you want to qualify for europe again, its the only way to do it. LM Why do you jump back to the same old when a fair point is made? You have stated that we should not drop down a position just because we get in to europe. I had a brief look and it Seems : Play in Champion League: Worse Position [1] Better Pos [1] Play in UEFA: Worst League Pos next season [4] Same [1] Better [1] Play in Intertoto only: Improved League Pos [2] So, if we started the season early (intertoto) but didnt continue in Europe, it improved our position both times. The Champions League was 50/50. UEFA Cup mostly left us in a worse position, usually a fair bit.
Christmas Tree 4821
Hit me today how bizarre this whole Europe business is. The media, our manager, our players and us, all make a big deal of getting into Europe and then what do we all do....... Treat it with the same disdain that Alex Ferguson has for the league cup. "it will be great for the vuckik's, Fergusons, Albeids etc". Really, what's the point of the first team busting a gut to get into Europe simply to play reserve football. It's a tad daft really!
