ewerk 33225
I'd forgotten how bad they were in our cup match last year. Every one of the goals they conceded were self inflicted.
Gemmill 49969
Mental to think that their own centre half is taking the Saudi money to boot the ball into his own net. How are you meant to compete with that?
Gemmill 49969
Isak was their dopey defender's own goal intervention away from getting his first hat trick a lot sooner.

Renton 23678
I haven't read the referenced article or the thread, but what amuses me is that it has already generated a 21 page thread after less than 2 hours. Edited January 6 by Renton

thebrokendoll 10276
only the mackems can whip themselves up in to such a frenzy about something that's never gonna happen! on a side note they have got a canny thread going on there about who scored the first goal for them after they were born. have never checked that out for meself and newcastle. turns out it was jimmy fell with a 31st minute penalty in a 4-4 draw away to cardiff city in the opening game of the 62/63 season in the old 2nd division. to my eternal shame I'd never heard of the lad. if you dont know yours, check it out here in .coms archives.... https://www.nufc.com/2024-25html/match-stats.html
sammynb 3923
Bryan Robson penalty against Southport in a league cup round 2 away win (2-1). And for the bonus brag, the game prior, Robson also scored the winner (1-0) at Joker Park against the mackems. It was a bit of a season that one. Take that sports fans.

And let's not forget that we also had to buy off the referees to have not sent him off earlier so that he could stay on to score the thumping OG. #ATG

A local lad called Keith Robson. I was never sure if it was him because I can't remember what time I was born and I was born on the other side of the world but pretty sure it would've been him v Sheffield United. If not it's a week later and it's Supermac v Ipswich I think.

Anyway, if I was playing, and I must stress that I am not, mine would have been the same scorer as our second goal at Old Trafford last week. Figure that one out boffins.

Gemmill 49969
Geoff Nulty. 46th minute equaliser in a 1-1 home draw v Ipswich. Had his career ended by Jimmy Case in the Merseyside derby apparently. Probably shouldn't have signed for Everton, I've got no sympathy.
