The bloke on E3 talking about how he's had to move into a smaller house so he could continue to afford to go to Sunderland games in the cost of living crisis, and how it was a big deal for him that he had to give up all of his memorabilia due to the reduced space.

Anyway, I was pleased to see that he'd kept his extensive mug collection and enjoyed the close up of the mug celebrating their 2021 Papa John's Trophy win.

There's some memorabilia you simply cannot say goodbye to.

"They are only in it to make money"

Like every single other owner of a football club then. We're so lucky that we have the Saudis willing to bankrupt themselves in the name of football glory.

It's unusual that the comments to this all seem largely rational (albeit I only checked the first page )

He dies at the end of the episode ffs. I feel a bit bad now.

A new Gemmill low this. I think it was the same bloke who had "Sunderland 'til I die" tattooed on his arm in series 1, genuinely seemed canny. Tempting fate a bit with that tat though....

Usually when the wife is on a 90 degree angle to me in a dimly lit bedroom were doing something different...and it's my birthday...and we're (I'm) finished after a few minutes.

But each to their own I suppose.

It's a pity 'The town hall clock' wasn't consulted about the magic bullet theory regarding the JFK assassination in 1963. His expertise in angles would've been invaluable and his demonstrations would've convinced everyone.

Sunderland are a strange one. I don't mind Onien as he seems to love what he does and their new bloke Dreyfus comes across well. Then they are Sunderland so they have to have Beale. His interview when we played them was awful but I wasn't sure if it was because he was relatively new to the role and it was a massive occasion for him. Her him on BBC Newcastle yesterday and it felt like he ran his players under the bus. I'm not sure how Sunderland got on as I missed their score but by the feel of things, I figured they must have lost. They were also slating Bellingham, who calls himself Jobe now? Who uses their first name because of their brother? It just felt tragic. I would try to get it if you were like Shearer's *son* trying to prove that you have what it takes. When it is your brother it just comes across as a complex.

Louis Dreyfus:

“There was no recruitment department, there was no data science department, there were no scouts, there was no academy manager. If you looked at the vacancies list, it was almost entirely vacant. While it seems like we’re completely different now, we have to keep a level of realism. These things take a little bit of time.”
