Mackems travelling to Alicante and playing Alicante and some other side. Just a heads up in case anyone on here is bewked up on a trip to 'Beni' between the 15th July and 21st July. If you are I doubt you'll see any Sunderland shirts as there's no way they'd wear them on a trip to Spain.

Then nonexistent Washington fought on the mags side against then minute Sunderland in an English Civil War battle. One which definitely wasn’t invented by them desperately trying to be relevant. Despite it only appearing in a Wikipedia page with little or no citations plus a badly-researched Guardian article.

Man who plays for club in the region has club in the region mentioned. Man who last played for a club in the region 7 years ago does not have the club in the region mentioned. Oh the humanity.

Like Henderson*, he fucked off the millisecond he got a better offer. They’re both products of their academy, which is something to be proud of. And you can’t blame either player for looking after themselves. But I really don’t think their respective careers are the ‘win’ mackems seem to think it is. 
*Obviously he’s suffered a backlash for going to Saudi. Not even joining Ajax, who have Sunderland to thank for inventing Total Football, has seen him forgiven

It is nice to see that they've forgiven Pickford for saying the best atmosphere he's ever played in is at SJP though.
