If only there was a way we could gauge how good they are compared to Premier league teams by arranging some kind of match - maybe this weekend?

(Of course just watch Fulham play a weak team and lose to the cunts).

Nothing less than a 4-0 drubbing will do.........5 or 6 would be better but a nice defeat with a couple of injuries will do

That's the Sunderland that aren't even in the playoff spots in the division below. Currently doing worse than 8 other Championship teams, having drawn 8 times and lost 9 times to teams that aren't good enough to be in the Premier League.

But aye, they'd give most teams in the division above a run for their money.

They're just not even worth bothering with.

They got compared to other PL teams a few years ago and were found wanting, they can compare themselves to the PL teams again if they fluke the play offs and we'll see how they get on then?

Two sides with fucking mountains of cash and pull, who could go after and possibly sign a ton of players in football have chosen to go after Anthony Gordon - at some point maybe they should think he might actually be decent? They can dress it up in their head that he’s similar to Watmore or whatever shite player they thought showed form but the thing is no one ever come in for him. He’s Evertons best performing player over the last two seasons, as much of a basket case as Everton are they’re still miles ahead of the mackems.

Additionally the geniuses that are slating Gordon also wrote pages and pages about how shite Botman, Burn, Trippier, Pope, Guimeraes, and Isak were.

It’s a bit like Stewart being the complete centre forward but top championship clubs (ie the aforementioned Burnley and Sheff Utd) not even being in for him let alone the likes of Notts Forest

Well, it's a hard one. I mean who to trust? NUFC's high flying coach Eddie Howe and the coaching staff, or some random mackem sister shaggers who have been PERSISTENTLY WRONG ABOUT JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING for more than a decade?

Tough one.

He's scored 11 goals in England's second tier, 3 of which were penalties. I mean.....

Says it all that Notts Forest actually went for our chronically misfiring third choice striker instead

26 years old as well so he’s not exactly in the ‘bags of potential to improve’ category.

Expand

His market value is a maximum of 0.7M Euros according to this site.

Their most valuable player (estimated at 7M) is Amad Diallo, but he's on loan from ManU. Same site has Antony Gordon worth 40 million euros. But not good enough for the mackem bench.

Transfermarkt has him at £3m, the most valuable player they actually own. 10% of their estimated Market value. Take out the loan players and he's 15% of their £32.3m squad value.

As a comparison, the least valuable squad in the Premier League is Bournemouth at £162m. They're £50m off the second lowest, Fulham.

Yet these clowns think they'd get mid table? They're not even going to get fucking promoted from the Championship, from where do they draw the resource to fuel this level of delusion? Is it in the Cheese? The Chips? The Blue pop?

The times I've seen Gordon he's looked a good player to me. I'm sure the more football obsessed on here will know better, but wouldn't Ashworth know a lot about Gordon from his England role?
