Anorthernsoul 1221
They are clutching at every straw under the sun here How fucking confused are they? They've absolutely slated Short for not spending any money yet they are slating Benitez for wanting investment, they are un-fucking-believable https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/fat-spanish-waiter-to-be-given-£70-million.1358823/
Anorthernsoul 1221
They are a very, very confused bunch of wankers.
Rayvin 5171
At least some in there have come out and just admitted to feeling jealous of our situation. Which is undoubtedly how most of them feel. I wonder how they'll fare next year.
Alex 34811
They need stuff to take their minds off the absolute desperate situation their own club is in tbh.

Doubt it, whoever comes up with Sheffield United and Bolton will join them as favourites for the drop. Plus Burton, Barnsley, maybe Bristol too? Especially as it's unlikely Abraham will still be with the latter. I'd be surprised if they bounced straight back, and the longer they're away from the Premier League teat the more they'll struggle, but I'd be shocked if they suffered consecutive relegations. Rayvin 5171
Have to agree, they're bad but not that bad. It'd take some catastrophic management to see them go down consecutively. Even if they did, they'd come right back again. Arguably it's better if they gradually decline rather than immediately

Arguably it's better if they gradually decline rather than immediately Big thing for them is how much of an overhaul is possible. Defoe, Kone, Ndong, Pickford won't raise £55m They're losing a ton of players as their contracts run out or they return to their parents clubs. The ones they're left with are ageing (O'Shea), perma-crocks (Cattermole) or just shit. Doesn't give them much of a core to build upon, or much money either. It'll get worse if they start badly and the fans desert the ground.

Aye, just meant without the clause he'd be one of their few saleable assets. A few seem to think Ndong, Pickford will stay. The latter out of loyalty, the former because if they don't get a stupid offer they should just not sell. French midfielders are famously professional if they don't get their desired move, so they may have a point...

Complete opposite for me, think he looks shite in their midfield but woule look much better with better players. He's got a really good engine on him and does the basics well Edited May 12, 2017 by TheGingerQuiff

You can take the man out of Newcastle .........' If Moyes did though, they'd have to erect another statue alongside Stokoe's for matching his achievement.Only in makemland.

Ayatollah Hermione 13790
Sticking with Moyes is absolutely suicidal so I fully expect them to do it. The fans hate him, the players clearly aren't keen and they've got absolutely no positive momentum heading into next year. What a shame

ewerk 30236
We finished last season on a note of positivity with a big victory and the fans singing the manager's name. They've finished their last home game with a torrent of boos and the prospect of the same shit manager next season. Mid table would be an achievement for them next season.
