Yes, sorry - It's not the main story on it obviously, it's just the football writers having a go at it. The main article was less frivolous.

I don't accept your apology.

Bring me cake and we can talk.

They don't get the sentence includes that he had every chance to plead guilty in the run up to the court date and didn't bother which in the eyes of the court meant the victim, a minor in the eyes of the law, was subjected to abuse by the scumberland fans something  which could have easily been avoided by saying so at the time.  < This is paraphrasing the sentencing judge from the trial.

They've also forget that some of their current squad whether suited and booted to join him in court to tell everyone what a stand up guy their mate was and that their club was perfectly fine for them to do this knowing he was guilty.

Spot on. They've been trying to shrug it off as "innocent until proven guilty" and all that shite but they didn't just treat him like an innocent man, they gave him more support than I've seen them give a player in about 20 years. There was a roar anytime he took the pitch, they cheered his every touch, and then also there was the completely fucking foul "he shags who he wants" chant.

I still think the club should have had points docked, they knew the cunt was guilty and they lifted his suspension and he went on to get them some points. The fact they still try and laud it over us that "they relegated us" and they finished above us, he definitely helped them gain enough points after the club found out he was guilty that put them above us, yet they are still giving it the "you're still fucking going on about that" craic. Horrible club, horrible fan base, horrible cunt of a player, I genuinely hope they go down this season and never return to the Premier League.

I like that they're trying to act like this is new for them, for my entire life that place is mostly empty around the 60th minute.

When I was a younger Roker park was mostly empty from the KO minute.

With Sunderland's Adam Johnson's failed appeal yesterday the makems desperate plan to resign him as an out of contract player is well and truly scuppered.Just another two year wait,if he's allowed out having served half his sentence, before they will attempt to sign him.

Was that rumour in the papers? I must have missed it
