Still expecting all 3 points tonight.

Think we'll turn on one of our superb performances getting us right back amongst it.

Cant wait. :nufc:

If at first you don't get enough bites, try again.

Pipe dont Roboaccountant...... remember this little Gem from our Best performance of the season against Man U.....

It's nights like tonight that I give thanks that I gave up my ticket. Pissing freezing, blowing a fucking gale and a dry bumming in the offing on a Wednesday night. Don't mind if I don't.

I see Howard 'Stars in their eyes' Webb is the Ref tonight. As if we haven't got a hard enough game as it is.

Total cunt of a man. Guarantee that they'll get a penalty for nothing, or one of our players will get sent off over a dive.

And how many times have I said that and been right when we've played that lot. My predictions take into account reality, yours take into account pompoms and a cheerleader's outfit.

Krul

Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon

Obertan Tiote Cabaye Jonas

Ben Arfa

Ba

Possibly ?

That's likely, but I'd prefer him to have HBA wide righ and Cisse playing deep off Ba (or the other way around, I'm still not sure which would work best)

Why not put Ben Arfa on the wing where he impressed?

Yup, but do you play with 3 in the centre (Guthrie, Cabay, Tiote) or Cisse and Ba up front? (as the front 2 players in a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1)

Just thought Pardew might prefer Obertan's pace and slightly better defensive qualities than Hatems.

Also wonder if Cisse could do with a bit more time to adjust and if Ben Arfa can maintain that form I would rather have him pulling strings in the middle.

If we are going to try and attack on the break then Obertans pace could be very useful, especially if the Arsenal defence also have Ben Arfa and Ba to worry about.

The reserve game midweek might have been the pretext to giving him a start I suppose, If only he'd stop fannying on and concentrate I'm sure he'd win plaudits quicker. I'm sure most times he loses the ball it's from the simple refusal to do a simple pass & do a little flick or 'heel chop' instead like a stoner playing FIFA.

His pace is handy mind but he needs to be more direct. It'll be interesting to see if he starts Hatem in the number 10 role but at the same time I can't see him dropping Cisse.

Ba has no issues playing as a number 10 so 4-4-1-1 would work with Hatem on the wing & Cisse up front. Ben Arfa trumps Obertans pace with the ability to actually get past people & another big game can only help him, besides wherever he plays he'll still find himself in the same positions.

I forsee a big massive fuck off expanse of empty green pitch in front of Arsenals box for most of this game, lots of balls hoofed long and high from our box and a loss by a few goals. They've scored 19 in their last 5 wins, 3 of which were Milan, Liverpool and Spurs. Worrying.

...on the other hand, if they're overconfident, we could be a bananaskin. Just can't see them wasting the chance to get within 1 point of Spurs, at home.

Shit or bust in terms of a top 4 challenge this. We've stagnated a bit lately, nicking a win here and it could kick us back into a winning machine.

3-0. RVPx 2 and Walcott

NUFC "supporter" forecasting a defeat ? Do you put money on that too ?
