Christmas Tree 4975
A number of Newcastle players were on international duty this week and to be honest the big interest was praying for no additional injuries and thankfully most of our first teamers were used sparingly. The exception being Cheick Tiote who played the full 90 minutes for Ivory Coast in a 0-0 draw in their first game since losing to Zambia in the final of the African Cup of Nations. Yohan Cabaye starred in the result of the night for France against Germany, coming off after 62 minutes France won 2-1. Left-back Paul Dummett won his third under-21 cap for Wales, coming on as a 61st minute substitute, while on Tuesday, Davide Santon played the first forty five minutes of Italy under-21s’ draw with Franc Shane Ferguson started for Northern Ireland in their 3-0 defeat to Norway, making a full international start almost three years after he won his first cap as a substitute against Italy in 2009, Ferguson played for 69 minutes at Windsor Park. Haris Vuckic came on for Slovenia after 61 minutes who gained a creditable 1-1 draw with Scotland. Tim Krul had an easy time all round as he was an unused substitute for Holland as they beat England 3-2 at Wembley. Tamas Kadar played for Hungary in their 1-1 draw with Bulgaria in Gyor, strange how he can;t even get on our bench despite the defensive problems and he being a full international.. nortoon 0
Watched the 2nd half of the Norway - Nireland match absent mindedly. While I only saw Fergie do 1 darting run and set up an attack, the commentator was raving about him after the first half. Ireland nr. 2s best player on the night apparently

ULSTER MAG 0
Fergie had a good first half, plenty of pace and quality crosses, created the only noteworthy chances they had. Probably NI best player in that half. Still looks like he could do with a good feed tho.
Guest CabayeAye
Is there some sort of famine going on in Fergies house or something, like? He needs to put away some pasties sharpish!
