Missus couldn't get the time off work for us to go to this one (ended up with tickets to the bin dipper game instead :/), kind of gutted as i've got a feeling were due a convincing win (please, sometime, anytime PLEASE!!) and this fits the bill.

Still reckon we'll be up for it though, the midfield needs to start perking up and playing like they want the ball, maybe then well actually be able to keep it on the deck and give Barfa and whichever striker combination is chosen some options.

recent games have left me with little confidence in our defensive capability lately, and after how much they read our game last time, i feel well need to be a lot more composed and smash straight into them to nullify any chance they have of overwhelming us again.

At least no matter what happens we wont be treated to fucking shitty music every time a goal is scored this time, fucking HATE that

This is set up to be another Wolves. Williamson to let us down again and Pardew to enforce that horrible, ineffectual hoofball that we all loathe.

0-3 and Pardew needs to go.

Pardew to go, don't be daft man.

Whilst some of the football hasn't been great in the last few months we're still 6th ffs. We've had a great season and picked up 3 points on plenty of occasions when we'd have historically lost.

At the end of the day we're still only in our 2nd PL season and 2 years ago as .com mentioned we had the likes of Fitz Hall in the team!

The only reason we're 6th is because everyone else has been terrible! Even the m*ckems who were looking at relegation under Brewcie are looking like they will catch us. With the players we have got, we should be destroying the teams we have been playing recently, not capitulating pathetically because we're hoofing the ball past some of the best players we've seen for years.

Pardew's selection and tactics are terrible. Any average manager would have us flying high ATM.

Bloody hell. It's fans like you who give us the "deluded" name.

We are struggling at the moment because we have a small squad, with our key players risking burnout. We are struggling because Williamson is nowhere near the player Steven Taylor is.

What exactly would you do differently that would catapult us further up the league?

Tough game. We need a result though to get us back on track. While I dont have much confidence in Williamson, I still think we should out class these at home. time for players like HBA to shine. I just hope our front two get service more than HOOFING the ball up. If we keep it on the deck and play through Jonas/HBA on the wings, push Cabaye up more I reckon we'll win by 2.

Really looking forward to this. Taking two of my daughters on the stadium tour pre match as well so all in all should be a great day out.

Hope you have an awesome day mate. Stadium tour capped with a win will be a great experience for them. Very jealous.

Williamson has his weaknesses but a pairing of him and Coloccini is so much better than Simpson and Perch that it doesn't bear comparison. We were also missing Tiote. The goals conceded against Norwich were embarrassing. This should be a completely different match, if they play with the same tactics Williamson and Colo should more than hold their own, and we should dominate possession.

Tiote is apparently very doubtful, whilst Simpson has miraculously recovered from his "injury" picked up at Arsenal.

Does this mean Cabaye and Guthrie in midfield, or will we bring in Perch to sit on front of the back 4? Personally, I think Perch does a better job than Guthrie as a holding midfielder, but doesn't offer much going forward.

The away game at Norwich was a funny one - we didn't actually play that badly but were completely done by set pieces and balls into the box. I have faith that Colo and Williamson can do a better job than Perch and Simpson did last time.

Howay the lads.

We're struggling due to the shite tactics on offer from Pardew.

Quite happy if the good Guthrie turns up.

In an ideal world you could say at home against Norwich we should benefit more from Guthries creativity as opposed to Tiotes break up play.

Be nice if this was the game everything finally clicked.

I just wish Pardew would take a few more risks. Today would be a perfect game to play Ferguson at left-back (if he's not injured), move Santon to the right. As then at least Ferguson will still have a bit of protection from Jonas, then when Ben Arfa cuts in from the right he will actually have a viable outlet in Santon. As you can see he's loathe to pass to Simpson.

I'd definitely start Guthrie ahead of Perch in midfield if Tiote isn't fit. Guthrie had a poor match last time out, but prior to that had been quite impressive.
