2bias 3
I think the view to this signing is that he is raw and can be moulded into a real talent. No real risk on a free transfer and only a three year deal. Big season coming up with lots of games.

Happy Face 29
(to the tune of that's amore) He's slim and he's sleek, With a nose like a beak, Amal-fitanooooo He came here from France, In size 28 pants, Amal-fitanooooo When the ball hits the net, It's a goal don't you bet, Amal-fitanooooo That's amore is 4 syllables Amalfitano is 5. I like the Brian Boitano song off South Park... What would Amalfiltano do If he was here right now, He'd make a plan And he'd follow through, That's what Amalfiltano'd do. When Amalfiltano was in the olympics, Skating for the gold, He did two sow cows and a triple lutz, While wearing a blind fold. When Amalfiltano was in the alps, Fighting grizzly bears, He used his magical fire breath, And saved the maidens fair. So what would Amalfiltano do If he were here today, I'm sure he'd kick an ass or two, That's what Amalfiltano'd do. I want this V-chip out of me, It has stunted my vo-ca-bu-lar-y. And I just want my mom To stop fighting everyone For Wendy I'll be an activist, too, Cos that's what Amalfiltano would do. And what would Amalfiltano do, He'd call all the kids in town, And tell them to unite for true That's what Amalfiltano would do. When Amalfiltano travelled through time To the year 3010, He fought the evil robot kings and saved the human race again And when Amalfiltano built the pyramids, He beat up Kubela Kong. Cos Amalfiltano doesn't take shit from an-e-y-body So lets all get together, And unite to stop our mom's And we'll save Terrance and Phillip too, Cos that's what Amalfiltano'd do. And we'll save Terrance and Phillip too, Cos that's what Amalfiltano'd dooooo, That's what Amalfiltano'd do.
The Fish 10855
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says new signing Romain Amalfitano will be given time to rediscover his best form at St James' Park. The 22-year-old midfielder arrived on Tyneside on a free transfer from French Ligue 2 winners Stade de Reims last week, penning a three-year deal. Pardew is prepared to give Amalfitano time to find his feet at Newcastle rather than throw him straight into the first team after the Frenchman found playing time limited towards the end of last season, reportedly because of his impending move to the Premier League. The manager told Chronicle Live: "Romain's a player who has been off the radar for a while, so it's going to take him some time to get back to his very, very best. "However, he is coming into a great environment and I'm sure he'll settle very quickly. That's the beauty of the French market." Pardew added: "He plays across the midfield, a bit like Sylvain Marveaux." Contact Amalfitano marks Newcastle's first signing of the summer and Pardew claims there has been interest from several other foreign players as the Magpies prepare to embark on a UEFA Europa League campaign. He said: "Word of mouth is very good and there's a lot of contact from players wanting to come to this club. "That arms me for the Europa League and it well help me to bring players in and out." I'm telling you, he's here to replace Sylvain Edited June 4, 2012 by The Fish
