He's hopeless in front of the defence though. In fact he's been a liability on a couple of occasions with giving the ball away. Get Ameobi off, I keep saying he's just not fit enough to have any sort of impact game after game like this. Perch in front of the defence with Guthrie, Raylor on the right, Jonas on the left (defensive wingers if you will) and Ben Arfa off Best in a 4-4-1-1 I'd take Best off before Shola myself. Ive always thought they are a little more effective coming off the bench, like any player would be i suppose. But especially so with Best. I wouldnt have minded just starting the 1 of them, and then replacing after 60ish mins. Moot point now though as our senegalese friends will hopefully keep them away from the team. It is the same with Jonas when he ran with the ball but there was just no one there to give the ball to so he just got us a throw. Need someone to play in the Cabaye/Tiote role. Aye this has been a big reason we're failing to retain possession no one is showing for the ball, the Jonas play you mentioned is a massive example of it he had the ball for a good 10 seconds and not a single player showed for him or made a move for him.
