Why not travel a bit earlier, and also come along to Lewes FC's game against Canvey Island, which kicks off at 2pm? We play in the Ryman Premier League, and pride ourselves on the warm welcome we extend to all football fans. Enjoy one of the most picturesque grounds in the country, with glorious views of the South Downs, whilst enjoying a pint on the terraces. Some of you may have heard of our local favourite brewer Harvey's - a delicious pint of bitter - but the Rook Inn's bar at our ground is also well stocked with all your national favourites too. It's just a few minutes to Brighton's ground by train from Lewes, and our ground is two minutes walk from the station. Just a tenner for adults - kids go free to all of our games - so please come along, if only for the sheer novelty of two games in one afternoon! You can always drink in Brighton after the game, but nothing beats a visit to our little Club as the pre-match choice. Oh, and please give my regards to the Toon! I lived in your magnificent city for 4 years in the eighties, which were some of the best years of my life! Hope to see some of you on the 28th...
