You constantly seem to forget that Pardew said HBA didn't want to play on the wing. Â HBA has never countered this statement. Perhaps Pardew has been steadily trying to convince him to play there and Today he agreed. Â I have no problem with HBA other than I'm not convinced he works for us ad a number 10 for the many reasons stated many times and continually ignored by the HBA fanboys. Possible, but not likely. Rather think its Pardews stubborn opinion.. Where did Pardew say "HBA doesnt want to play there" ? Personally I think the discussion of what constitutes " a true number 9/10 etc" is a bit pointless tbh, rather than shoehorn someone into that role and try to define it, we should rather take a hard look of what a player can contribute to the team. Â Obviously he has been on the wing before and that's where he's had some great success but I think he might be afraid of the challenges it attracts.
