I fully believe he is thinking about coming to us...put in a little ground work and tweeted him (in French I might add) for him to come join the revolution...matter of time people, matter of time. That or he was visiting yohan on his birthday.

or neither since he was playing for lille as they lost to marseille today

Could be another case of Gervinho fever. Newcastle, Newcastle, Newcastle, Newcastle, Newcastle.................Signs for Arsenal

We dodged the bullet there, though. The more shit players who turn us down, the better.

Could be a player who we have scouted, will fit into the team and has the right attitude like Cabaye or Tiote, may not be a big name but will add to the team

Some may prefer shelling out £15mil and 100k a week on a 30 something looking for a pension

Two things:

1. Only those with amnesia don't possess hindsight.

2. I said Gervinho was going to be shit after the first game this season.

Any other shit set to dribble out of your mouth tonight?

How good is this Bas Dorst or whateva his name is?

Quite injury prone but will fit in well with Geordie dialect. Bang, and the Dorst is gone

I want him to sign for this reason and no other.

No chance of Big Fat Mike splashing out on Samba. Too old. no resale value.

That's the annoying thing for me, I'm all for buying players that are going to improve, but you also need to buy players for now.

A prime example of this was when Keegan signed Beardsley. Even then he had to fight with SJH over it.

Thing is for every Beardsley there's probably 10 overweight hasbeen crocks.

please, remind me again how many times Mike Ashley has matched his predecessors league positions in the last 4 years ? This is what justifies everything, the transfer policy, the quality of players bought and sold, the scouting policy, everything, the growth of the club, the sponsors, advertisers, gates, revenues, everything. Or what exactly are you claiming to be "shit".

Then pipe down.

In this window [and the next for that matter] is he going to sign the 2 players that JSM says we are short of now, to be a "very good" team, and build on the core of best players, or sell someone that should not be sold.

I know where my money would be placed.

exactly, its all about finding a balance but at the end of the day, its quality counts before the price, when you are a big club.

Eh?

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7438203/United-and-Chelsea-eye-Vorm

Swansea director John van Zweden has revealed that four Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea, have made enquiries for Michel Vorm.

The Dutch international goalkeeper has emerged as a real star this season and has been one of the best shot-stoppers in England.

Vorm's performances have seen him linked to other clubs, and now van Zweden - who is a director and co-owner of the club - has confirmed that United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle have all made approaches.

"Clubs have enquired about Vorm," he told VI Radio.

"Manchester United have asked, in addition Chelsea and for that matter Newcastle United. Tottenham Hotspur have cautiously announced they are interested.

"It would be a nightmare for us if he left."

Swansea signed Vorm for just over £1million last summer from FC Utrecht and the Dutch club admit they would be happy to see him move on as they have a sell-on clause.

"I'm not mentioning sums, but it is more than training costs," Utrecht technical director Foeke Booy confirmed.
