Toonpack 9111
I dont see the reason for panic. If this seasons objective was a top 10 finish. We are doing pretty well. With regards to transfers - January isnt a good time to buy unless they are in the final year of their contract or the selling team has a replacement lined up. In my opinion we are only desperate for a full back. Hopefully it will be Cissokho. Wingers arent my biggest concern as i feel a decent fullback will improve our wing play. Would like a young-ish up and coming CB to push/cover Williamson tbh

Monroe Transfer 0
I think Williamson has done alright. We definitely still need cover for that position but at the moment it's honestly not our most pressing concern.

That'll cost a fortune not necessarily. if our budget is £10m or something, I'm pretty sure some young foreign talent with above colo potential can be bought for about half of that. it's all about scouting the right countries, which I fully rely Carr is capable of. toonotl 2916
I think Williamson has done alright. We definitely still need cover for that position but at the moment it's honestly not our most pressing concern. What is then? Remembering Perch is next in line behind colo/willo. I'm not talking about the now, the current. Not the possibility of Colo/Williamson being out. To me a striker is needed more, because we know for a fact that in a couple of weeks we'll be without our main goal threat and I don't think our other strikers will score enough. A fullback (preferably one who can also cover in the centre), a natural CB and a striker are all needed in their own ways and will be more essential than the other at certain times. Would like a young-ish up and coming CB to push/cover Williamson tbh The general rule of thumb is two players in every position. If Kadar isnt even in contention, we do need a fourth. But that's not a high priority in January as it wont effect the starting eleven and they are unlikely to hit the ground running.
Lake Bells tits 1
MT - I respectfully disagree. Both Colo and Williamson are prone to injury at the moment - colo because he is playing alot and recently had a small niggle, williamson because he is just back and very likely to pick up something due to not being matchfit. Whos the first in line if one of them gets injured? Perch. He is basically half on his toes on the bench already. As little as I rate best and shola, I do think they are PL standard to a larger degree than Perch. CB is an absolute necessity, whereas I simply view a striker as a necessity. It really is a "plague or cholera" question though, as both is definately needed.
Christmas Tree 4669
Can't see any reason at all why we can't get a few loans in to help us out through to summer.
Aeris 0
As little as I rate best and shola, I do think they are PL standard to a larger degree than Perch. no they're not, perch is relegation flight standard in championship, best and shola is mid table standard. PL standard is not a relative term at least shouldn't be. Edited December 31, 2011 by Aeris

But at least we have other strikers.
