Which will be even more ridiculous given the fans and medias recent talk of how we have moved on from Carroll and now play a precise passing game. I just don’t get why for some players, like HBA, he talks about not being upto speed during games, but then sticks religiously to players who have not done much. I’ve got no problem with Best but for West Brom and Bolton (that’s 2 hours of football) he was completely anonymous (other than missing the glancing header against WBA). Feel sorry for the lad, professionally speaking - to the extend you can feel sorry for someone hoinking in 80 grand a week. He didn't have to sign for Liverpool then suck them off as soon as he left. No one will ever convince me Carroll was forced out, this is a lad who was laughing and joking the day after HIS car was burnt out, the same day Nolan was seen distraught about the whole affair. He doesn't give two fucks what people think so there is no way Ashley and Lambyarse pushed him out or made him feel unwanted. Carroll went for the same reason our tossers sold him, money. Live on Sky at Anfield as well. Could a few be playing for a big move Expecting defeat but Pardew sounds pretty bullish about this one.
