As I said in the film thread, the fact that it beat Inception, Toy Story 3, Social Network and True Grit to loads of awards will look like Forrest Gump beating Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption...or Driving Miss Daisy beating Do The Right Thing...an absolute aberration. Bit disappointed with it's metaphysics tbh. I was dissapointed with Melancholia and to an extent TOL but the sheer bravura of TOL made me go back and watch it again. Watching 'The ides of March' tonight. Need to catch up on Moneyball, Girl with the dragon tatoo, 13 assasins and 3/4 others. The remake of 'The Thing' was a little dissapointing as was the Rise of the Apes...Two I was looking forward to. Of the ridiculous budget variety...Thor was alright if you can get past the cheesy schlock and relentless cgi. You can find Headhunters at the usual sources now with decent srt. subs.
