McFaul 35
I only use it for following Newcastle news and shouting at the moon Stevie. Aye but you follow everyone on here? Would be nice to know who you are.
Christmas Tree 4729
Aye but you follow everyone on here? Would be nice to know who you are. I don't follow one person on here. I used to follow couple last summer when it was all new but haven't done so since. It's simply just a news portal for me.
Kid Dynamite 7034
sounds like you synced your entire mailbox after the upgrade. Well Orange were meant to ring me back on Friday but as I expected they didnt bother. After doing my own research that their Tech department seemed stumped over, it appears that when my mailbox refreshes every 10minutes to download any new mail, its actually downloading my entire mailbox, every ten minutes, every day Not sure if this is a phone fault or a software fault with ICS. The other bizarre thing is that after checking how much extra Ive run up on my bill for the 750mb extra data Ive used, its only £4 odd. Which is what I normally get charged for going about 50mb over. Tooj 17
I've had no issues with ICS and I'm still using the beta version as I now need to flash mine with the official O2 upgrade.
Kid Dynamite 7034
Can someone tell me why my email inbox on the S2 keeps downloading the same fucking emails again and again and again, regardless of how many times I delete it
Andrew 4774
can you turn off autodownloading? it might be just syncing with your online inbox over and over again so you delete it from the phone and it thinks "this is online but not on phone, download"
Christmas Tree 4729
Can someone tell me why my email inbox on the S2 keeps downloading the same fucking emails again and again and again, regardless of how many times I delete it I had this problem on the Iphone a few weeks ago. Basically I had too many emails on their hosted server. As soon as I deleted them off line the problem stopped.
Gemmill 44995
If you can't get it sorted, try K 9 or Maildroid as alternatives. Edited May 4, 2012 by Gemmill
Kid Dynamite 7034
can you turn off autodownloading? it might be just syncing with your online inbox over and over again so you delete it from the phone and it thinks "this is online but not on phone, download" That defeats the purpose of having a mobile email app though. Previously it would check every ten minutes and download anything new. Since I upgraded to ICS it downloads 7 or 8 at a time, some months old, some days old.
