Andrew 4748
Trophyshy hated it btw, Craig But I agree with you, I thought it was very good once you realised it wasn't going to be 40s GTA. Felt like a big budget point and click adventure game made by the cast of Mad Men. Craig, have you tried playing the Assassin's Creed games? The story and plot is canny ridiculous but there's plenty of things to do and it gets more in-depth and refined as the series goes on. thats another of its problems, 40s GTA was exactly how it was marketed and advertised still get people coming in and asking if its like GTA
Craig 6682
That fact that it's not GTA is what makes it work IMO. That said the physics are a bit off when driving. Jumping off a cliff and the car is virtually intact. And getting slammed by a tram should result in a damned sight more mess than it does. Apart from that it's not too bad - works well because of the sub-plots you can take up during the main game. I've looked at Assassin's Creed but it's never really grabbed me if I'm perfectly honest. May consider it again. Was thinking of getting a cheapo version of Mafia II. Anyone played that? Any good?

I agree with that, the problem is that people still expect it to be which means a lot of people are leaving it unfinished and disappointed
Craig 6682
It actually reminds me of some gash game I had for the PC years ago called 'Under A Killing Moon'. But way, way better..
Craig 6682
Got Driver SF on your recommendation, AH. Just been clarting about on it so far, trying to find places I know (like a sad twat). Seems canny so far though! Just got that for £15. Canny game. Anyone got NFS The Run? Any good??
