Alex 35056
Don't listen to much new stuff but I loved the Lone album (Levitate). Probably because it sounded like it was made in about 1993.

Alex 35056
I really like his Emerald Fantasy Tracks album too. Which also sounds like it was made in the 90s
David Kelly 1244
Anderson Paak - Malibu Whitney - Light Upon the Lake A Tribe Called Quest - We got it from here.... Thank you 4 your service Radiohead - A moon shaped pool The Avalanches - Wildflower Tindersticks - The Waiting Room Nick Cave and the bad Seeds - Skeleton Tree Bon Iver - 22, a million Nearly a top 20, one space left for loads of albums have not even heard yet. All of those are excellent. Radiohead, Bowie, Whitney, Anderson Paak & De La Soul (even though I've only had it a couple of weeks) are my favourites of the year. I also really like Andrew Bird, The Monkees, Isiah Rashad, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon & Underworld
Happy Face 29
A Weird Exit is good but far from the best Thee Oh Sees have released 2 tracks 5 starred on first listen. Good start.
sammynb 3355
2 tracks 5 starred on first listen. Good start. Maybe I was being harsh on the OC's and in the scheme of 2016 it is up there but I still think it's not one of their best. HF if you ever get a chance to see them live make sure you take it, they are brilliant. Edited November 30, 2016 by sammynb

Dr Gloom 21911
Jeez, are they still going? Used to love bandwagonesque
Dickie 0
They certainly are, consistently releasing an album full of perfect melodic guitar pop every few years. The albums are nowhere near as grungy as Bandwagonesque was.
