Starting to look like a top class keeper, the more confidence he gets the better he is performing.

A bright future me thinks!

where will that be ?

In space old man. In the year 2000, the year 2000.

I think there is no teams in a position where Krul would want to go at the moment, either cause the team or the league sucks or they already have a good GK. Spurs currently enjoy Friedel which has been awesome this year.

Keep kidding yourself, our achievement is a flash in the pan and we all know it - if anyone, ANYONE comes in waving cash at fatboy they'll get whoever they're after. Fuck whether it weakens the team or the player goes to a rival, it's a bitter pill to swallow but even wank like Spurs can come and cherry pick our team these days, all the more so if it upsets the fans as far as Fat and Dekka are concerned.

most people think its the real deal mate, and not a flash in the pan. Your observations are spot on about the Fat Man and his sidekick though.

you should start listening to more knowledgeable people lad. Even though you and others are over 4 years too late.

Where will Krul go and how much will the Fat Man pocket, do you agree or disagree ?

people complain at threads being derailed. They should really be looking closer to home, not that it bothers me in the slightest, but such comments as made by toonotl only emphasise the mentality of people on here - usually the people who then complain.

My post is genuine to Northern Soul and worthy of a reply, on topic and has been agreed with by Armchair Pundit.

Such posts as made here by toonotl are not doing this message board any favours. Perhaps the self appointed policeman of the board who appears to think he has been tasked to suggest new borderlines and posting limitations, ie luckyluke, can tear himself away from his own self delusion and bias by seeing the error of his ways, as he's a clever little boy who learned all about life at college/university by reading a book about it or something.

Leazesmag, you've got to start realising that there are differences of opinion and that it's alright that there are differences of opinion.

You've made your point, and I'd say that the majority of the people who post here agree with your views about Mike Ashley to some degree.

But it seems that when you read someone else's opinion, you can't seem to let sleeping dogs lie. Instead, you seem to follow a well-worn path of trying to belittle the person for having an opinion. They have a right to their opinion as you do yours. (Isn't that the argument you've made on the 'woman ranting on the train' thread.)

Your continual repetition of your opinion is repeated so often, on so many threads, that people lose interest in reading it and, most importantly, in engaging with it.

Instead of being a reasoned argument, what you say seems to come across as a rant. You've become the person standing in the corner screaming at the wall because no-one but an inanimate object can stand listening anymore.

Everyone stating that you're a drunkard is evidence that people have stopped reading what you say (no-one is engaging with you), and have, instead, turned to making fun of you. You're not a drunkard (I'm guessing), but the repetition of what you say/write means that people have turned to taunting you (like what happens in a schoolyard) because they've given up trying to reason with you.

If you read a thread where someone is commenting on how good a player is, or taking delight in the fact that we've started the season well, let that person state that instead of always replying 'Well, he'll be sold of course', or 'Well, you're just deluded as you can't see the bigger picture'.

Odds are that they agree with you about Ashley, but for the time being they're writing about a subject that's not about Ashley/how the club's being run/the club's budget etc. They'd rather be having a discussion about Tim Krul's ability as a goal keeper, who we're gonna use as a centre-back given the situation we are in this week, or having a laugh because Man U's out of the CL .... etc.

In such a thread, let that be the topic of discussion. Don't derail it with a comment that you've already written on several hundred other threads and isn't directly related to the topic at hand.

not that it bothers me in the slightest

That fact that you even wrote that means that, yes, it DOES bother you. Otherwise, you'd never have responded in the first place.

It's not your opinion about Ashley that makes people sick and tired of you, it's your repetition of it. And it's that which has lead to people asking you to be banned from here.

I'm not suggesting you should be banned, but I am suggesting that you stop being the person that makes coming to this board no longer fun for people.

how much will the Fat Man pocket?

How much has he pocketed so far?

Answer the question, Leazes.

I've asked you numerous questions laddie. Where is the Carroll money ?

Did Shepherd ever take much money out of the club?

Around £50m in personal wealth. So far Ashley has only invested money and not seen a return on it.

the Halls and Shepherd backed their managers. If as you say they didn't, it only makes their league positions attainted even more of a success. I realise some will disregard this, but think about it.

Where is the Carroll money ? Has Pardew spent it yet or even seen it ? Are you disputing Keegans claim that Pardew wouldn't see it, or do you know better than Keegan, and are you saying you have more idea than he does on how to make NUFC prosper as a football club ?

Are you suggesting that Mike Ashley has taken the Carroll money out of the club? If so then where's you evidence.

When it comes to a discussion on taking money out of the club then you don't have a leg to stand on.

See? Both sides have positive and negative elements. If we had SJH and Sheperd's enthusiasm and vision for the club matched with Mike Ashley's finances then we'd be on to a winner.

  • 4 weeks later...

Krul seems to have somehow almost completely eradicated his only major flaw that was present even earlier in this very season - his decision-making.

No longer are we seeing him in no man's land or caught in two minds. He makes a decision now and he sticks to it. Andy Woodman deserves a lot of credit because it's some turn-around.

Aye he's an absolute monster now, cant remember having a keeper that controlled the box the way Krul does (probably Shay's biggest weakness) some of his decisions today were lightening quick particularly the one he grabbed off Rooney's (?) boot.

Edit: Just hope old red nose doesn't start getting any ideas after seeing him perform well twice against him.
