Monroe Transfer 0
no chance he's coming here wise up He's not in the same league as Ben Arfa in terms of stature in football and ability imo and we got him. He's not that good imo. Not one to say I tolds you so but.....
Andrew 4969
looked quality in his first couple of games all the arsenal headlines have been with RVP for obvious reasons lately though
Monroe Transfer 0
Did he really look quality though? Looks like a player who can run fast but doesn't do much else. Aaron Lennon is better.

2bias 3
I think he looks good. He is use to scoring in France though and he seems to be looking to do that too much at Arsenal.

Tooj 17
He's a good player, and also seems to have that eye for goal that they haven't had in that area since Ljungberg. I think he'll be a success for them.

jonasjuice 0
Yeah he's too wasteful at times but he created a lot of those chances himself with his movement and 'nuiscance factor'. Not world class by any means, but i think he is a;right for the price. Think he would have been a (minor) success here fwiw, fits into our new style quite nicely. Phil 6
He's a good player. But similar to Van Der Vaart and Arshavin, he isn't defensively good enough for midfield and isn't clinical enough upfront. Them type of players do alright if they play in a 5 man midfield, or if they play off a striker who can make up for their lack of goals.

McFaul 35
He's a good player, and also seems to have that eye for goal that they haven't had in that area since Ljungberg. I think he'll be a success for them. An eye for goal? He can't finish for shit, he's missed at least 7 goals worth of chances so far this season I think we dodged a bullet I've seen loads of Gervinho, I saw him many times playing for Lille, playing in the ANC, and in the World Cup. I've saw him enough times to categorically say he's absolutely shite. He benefited massively at Lille by playing alongside the unbelievable Hazard, Cabaye, and Sow as a great target man around them. As I said in March this year I would've been gutted had we signed him, because he has no end product, and I genuinely don't think he has the quality to bridge the difference between Ligue 1 and the Premiership. Now don't get me wrong he can dribble and take people on, but his finishing is abysmal, his end pass is abysmal, I'd be amazed if he lasts three years in the Premiership and fully expect him to be back in France at a Sochaux or a Rennes, as I said in March he's pony and give the £14m fee I'm delighted we dodged that bullet. At the end of the day if you can't put quality balls in, finish and have a shit end product, but can dribble, you should fuck off and play futsal or Cantona's beach football. McFaul 35
laughing at a lot of the comments on this thread. £14m for a dud. Comparisons with VDV. At the end of the day Obertan cost £3m this shit mug cost £14m, he can't consistently do anything that will benefit the team, he doesn't even particularly work hard, and that's one thing you can't level at Obertan despite his ineptitudes. As I put in March and this morning, absolutely delighted he's not here, I wouldn't even want him on a Bosman. The person who said he's missed 7 easy opportunities this season? And the fucking rest, that dummy of the keeper was embarrassing just put the fucka in! He won't improve because he hasn't got the quality to improve. TicTacWoe 0
Going a bit far to say he's shite Stevie. He does look good at times and over the course of the season could get used to the league and the way they play. He has missed some shockers like but I still reckon he could be a good player for them. He's no Nasri though, who he has effectively replaced. My prediction for this player is he'll go the same way as Titi Camara or at the very, very best El Hadji Diouf. It just boils down to quality, quality passing, quality incisiveness, I've seen him for 3 or 4 years and he's pish.
Kevin S. Assilleekunt 1
Also a rare example of a bald black man who doesn't shave it off. Larry David would be proud, the true balds allow the world to see the true extent of their baldness rather than shaving it off.
