Lake Bells tits 1
Im talking about what we should do next. And I`m gonna stop you right there, it is NOT the "best back 4" in the league ffs You have been drinking off the SD cool-aid. Both our wingbacks are desperately average, with Raylor bordering on the shameful now that he doesnt have Jonas Nanny`ing him. Might as well just throw Santon in there, because - and listen carefully because I am only gonna say this once - he cant possibly be worse than Raylor. I don't see why he would displace anyone in a back four that had only conceded 12. The fact no team had conceded less made that the best defence in the league. Happy Face 29
and...despite getting raped by Sturridge repeatedly, I'm not sure you could blame RTaylor for any of the goals conceded.
LeazesMag 0
Played 14 Points 26 Our luck just wasn't in against Chelsea and if Luiz had been sent off early it could have been a completely different game, on the plus side we've came out of 3 of our toughest fixtures of the season and we didn't disgrace ourselves in any of them so we keep marching on. On the bright side we've now played 9 of last seasons top 10 and it's only goal difference keeping us off 5th which goes against the easy start the media like to make out we've had, we've also got what I'd consider to be winnable games at home between now and the end of the season like Sunderland, Villa, Stoke, Swansea, Bolton, Norwich, Wolves, QPR, West Brom. That's 9 of the 13 teams outside of the top 7, not a bad position to be in at all. One of the other plus points of the weekend was Everton losing at home to Stoke as they are a team that will be pushing us for a top 7 place, the longer we can keep them off our tale the better starting at Norwich next weekend, I fancy a draw in this one but we need Ben Arfa to start finding some end product to what has been some decent play in recent weeks, fingers crossed it will get easier for him when we're not playing against a top 4 club. so hows the current "plan" going ? Didn't you say you agreed with 99% of my posts in a pm once ? As I said, no excuse for the daft remarks you made, which only drag the forum down. However, if you feel the need to do it, don't complain at the result. That makes you no better than the likes of luckyluke and gloomy. toonotl 3110
Yeh and in the forum. What part of anything I've ever said makes you think my problem with you is that I disagree with your overarching opinion? Get a clue. In the real world I would walk away, or do as I suspect your mates do and just agree with you quickly and not argue the details for the sake of everyone's sanity, but here where I am forced to trawl through your droning monotony to get to actual posts of relevance it becomes a bit of a burden. I spent quite a while listening to moronic posts droning on about how crap things were under the old regime, at the time, when we were behaving like a top club, and attempting to keep our best players and build on it rather than selling them off to anybody who came waving cash and for that cash to be re-directed elsewhere without backing their managers. Tell me, what is different about me listening to those sort of "droning" posts and you now listening to mine, other than the fact that what I am saying is happening and going to happen ? Such is the lessons of history. Rather than also "droning" on about people who go to pub, or are supposedly old, you - like others - would be better served getting their heads out of their arse and disagreeing with everything I say just because it is me that has said it. And as I also said, such sentiments expressed by people who then criticise for the response and call for banning/moderating etc etc ie luckyluke and gloomy only makes them look childish, petulant and unable to accept people have different opinions, which I could respect if I had been the person who said the last owners were shite and anybody else would do better and selling your best players and pocketing the cash is the way to achieve success on the pitch as a football club. Maybe if you read those last few lines again, you will realise that it is what some people are saying and how stupid it is, and nowt to do with the past anyway, and you don't need to be sober to see it !!!! There must be a lot of drunk fuckers on here if they can't see that. Edited December 8, 2011 by LeazesMag

LeazesMag 0
It's not your opinions that people have issues with Leazes, it's your personality. ah well. One thing I'm not, is a hypocrite, and I'll admit it when I'm wrong. In this very thread, we will see if Baggy admits he is wrong. I think people who call for bannings and moderation of posters just because they don't agree with them, express unfounded sentiments of others yet think its OK when they do the same, are no doubt lovely lads. trophyshy 7084
But you're the only one on the site who repeatedly falls into this situation, I'm not suggesting everyone else is Gandhi. Not one other poster gets the consistency of flak you do. No one is criticising your opinions or ideas; it is the nature of your expression of these ideas and what they mean to your ego, the repetition and your perpetual pursuit of your own validation, particularly associated with the submission of others. No one else behaves in this way. These things are personality related, therefore it is your personality - as expressed on this board - which causes you to have so many other posters telling you to pipe down. Nobody else cares if anyone admits if they were right or wrong 4 years ago. No one is interested in your pursuit of this. People are sick and tired of it, hence the frustrated calls for moderation. Nobody else cares if anyone admits if they were right or wrong 4 years ago. No one is interested in your pursuit of this. People are sick and tired of it, hence the frustrated calls for moderation. thats not really true, I've been getting flak ever since I dared to suggest that the Halls and Shepherd weren't the Anti-Christ and that they were good owners, hence the references to "5th best" all the time, which is based on factual comments posted by myself that we were indeed the 5th most consistently best club in the country etc during their time. I stand by everything I said, and I knew at the time, that what I was saying was right. Which is why I stuck to my guns. If I had been proved wrong [with the law of averages against it and I'm not even a betting man] I would have been wrong and would have been very happy it this had been the case. It's all based on that, sadly, in spite of the fortunes of the club under the new owner since he bought the club. Unfortunately now, it can go 2 ways. Mike Ashley could sell the club to someone even worse than himself and you would be looking back in a decade or two and realising that the Halls and Shepherd era was the best you witnessed [like me] or he could indeed sell to someone "better" than the Halls and Shepherd, which is just as unlikely as it ever was, although possible. Why I get the flak and why it sticks, and why people can't see it, is quite simply beyond me, maybe giving me flak is easier than admitting that they were spouting bollocks If people stopped calling for my banning, moderation etc, especially those who are hypocrites and think its OK for them to say what they like, and even better realised what I have said is correct and their only problem is their hatred of the Halls and Shepherd clouded their whole judgement, I wouldn't have anything to respond to ? After all, if people repeatedly said YOU were spouting bollocks, when you weren't, would you not put them right ?

LeazesMag 0
Not if my personality contained humility and wisdom, no. well, my views of the old board contained wisdom, and still do, but unfortunately because people still can't accept favourable comments of the old owners, I get flak and/or the comments of "spouting bollocks" continue, because its me saying what I say. I really can't do anything about that. When I make posts about the 70's and players, for instance, people say they are good posts, but when I make posts about the 70's and 80's owners in conjunction of how our fortunes changed from 1992, people refuse to accept it. Do you understand why this is so ? Because in my view, there is no difference whatsoever. Our fortunes changed from 1992 BECAUSE of the massively superior owners, and our fortunes now are declining again because of the inferior owner. I really don't see the difference, other than it being a personality hatred thing and a refusal to accept the facts.

Baggio 0
So it's a year tomorrow since the club made the inspired decision to bring in Alan Pardew as our manager and what a great decision it's turned out to be, he's been fantastic and while a large portion of the fans were upset to see Hughton leave it has to be said that with hindsight it was a cracking decision. Fingers crossed he can build on the good work he's done and help us achieve our aim of European qualification this season. Well done Pards.
