Lake Bells tits 1
Team Positive just got a new member?! Im just thinking out loud how it could have been with a decent owner. I know in reality, we are probably gonna stamp price tags on half our first team in january and flog people for fun and end 10th. I realise we are not going to challenge for CL but if we are to secure european places, we have to at least aim for the CL places. If the ENTIRE carroll-sum were invested into new players hand-picked by Carr, we would have had new wingers, another striker, better backup for taylor and colo and even more depth in the midfield. That in my book could make it possible to shamelessly snag a 4th or 5th should one of the top teams have a dip in form. Why not? If Everton can do it, so can we. Baggio 0
Following last January's cash windfall (the sale of Carroll, and failing to adequately replace him ie. in this case not all) the team ran on petrol fumes, and the point return down the season's final stretch told it all. He was that integral to the team's structure, and effectiveness in the final third. Similar pattern will occur if Collo (arguably the league's best ball-playing centrehalf) and Tiote (our midfield enforcer) are sold, and are replaced by inferior but cost-effective stock for the price of peanuts. A finish of 10th beckons. Eh? Wasnt our average points to game ratio pretty much the same after january? Pardew had a slightly better points to games ratio than Hughton and I don't think Carroll played many games for him. 3 possibly?

The best form of Carroll's career coincided with Hughton managing him, that's another way of looking at it. When you going back to NO anyway? You could say Hughton got the best out of Nolan too as his goal tally went to shit after he left, more likely to be how successful the long ball stuff was with Carroll in the side. Monroe Transfer 0
Box-to-box perhaps then. Yeah I watch quite alot of tottenhams games, modric is to me a cleaner who also likes running with the ball and spraying passes further up.. if we are getting into semantics thats okay though, sorry. Last I heard the sums involved surpassed 40 million... A cleaner? Spurs sure do make them work for their money. Can see him now running round Harrys place, dyson in one hand can of Mr Sheen in the other

How come you're not on the banlist Baggy? Probably because I haven't done anything against the rules that is worth a ban. From memory, Dave posted a random scaremongering post to bump the Coloccini thread, then the following day he bumped the same thread saying something along the lines of "I wonder if Llambias thinks Coloccini isn't worth shit either" when I laughed at his scaremongering in the same thread 2 days running. Next thing I know I've been banned. The problem with Dave is he likes the little bubble that is Newcastle-Online where he feels important and gets his arse licked for making 93,000 posts without having much of an opinion on anything, so for someone to come along and challenge his general bitching and suggest he wore a Lucas Radebe shirt to school takes him out of his comfort zone. You are creeping back on here just because you've been banned, before you were banned you were quite content to post on NO and only NO because you know the vast majority of people on here aren't as stupid as on NO, that being the reason you fit in better over there. Interestingly Baggy, has still not replied to my offer, he's ignoring every post I make, the reason being, of course, is that he knows deep down that the anti- Keegan pro-Wise stance he took, and support of this DOF system of running a club, which he championed massively, has now been shown to be a pile of bollocks.
