Carroll`s career so far in Liverpool

Would swap Carroll for Ba and Cisse. Would rather have all three.

I dont see how any sane person can not agree that the direction Liverpool are TRYING to take, albeit directed by a misguided idiot (Dogleash), is not at least the right approach even if the execution in this approach is lacking somewhat. Anyone who thinks the fat cunt in charge of NUFC is taking a better approach:

E.g. Selling your best players and not reinvesting the money

Is either related to Mike Ashley, his mate, deluded, or for the most part simply VERY optimistic!

£55m on Carroll and Henderson?? So if that's the way forward then football is fucked beyond recognition

Jay, stfu.....

Like what?

"I don't think you would find any sane person who wouldn't have BA and Cisse together over Carroll. Notice the use of the word sane."

How's that picky

You're right, it's not picky, it's redundant.

This is class mind.

I don't give a flying fuck what you highlight, people getting off on a Liverpool wankathon. They struggled to a win over a championship side, sit below us in the league and after all the money they spent they still rely on Gerrard to pull them out the shit. They will be nowhere near City or Man u in the league for the foreseeable future if ever. Once Chelsea sort themselves out they will also be in the elite 3, the rest will battle for what's left. If anyone thinks that Liverpool will win the league is fucking deluded

Your attitude LM is akin to the kid who has pocket money burning a hole in his pocket. You'd rather spend it on 'something' rather than leave it where it is.

Precisely that nice round figure of £25m bought use Owen and Boumsong. Still, at least we were 'ambitious' eh?

Most would agree in principle but do you GENUINELY believe we will see the rest of that money? It wouldnt surprise me if the crook in charge is syphoning whats left off fraudulently or if a new Sports Direct superstore pops up somewhere!

Ah well, it'll show up in the club accounts then, won't it?

How do you mean "see the money"? Do you mean used solely for player purchases? I doubt it. Some of it will but some of it will undoubtedly be swallowed up in overheads / wages / etc.

between 20 and 25m quid "swallowed up in overheads/wages/etc" ?

Surely not the actions of the club with the 14th biggest revenues in football ?

I really don't believe that JSM is 38 years old. 38 months maybe ?

I think he is also on the brink of a Baggio-type strop here.

Spare a thought for those of us who have to watch the 38 month old take on the 56 month old every fucking day in this unending battle of witlessness.

even JSM would rival you in the perception and knowledge of NUFC stakes.

We could have spent £25M on Glen Johnson. Doesn't mean we'd be better off though. We did that in the past and ended up with such cunts as Owen, Luque and Boumsong.

I think we'd be better off with Johnson at right back than Simpson like. Not that he'd sign for us, even for £25m.

You'd rather stick with championship level players than run the risk of signing any cunts? Those cunts were all here when we were playing in Europe btw.

Mate, Glen Johnson is fucking rubbish, but would also cost a fortune. He exists on reputation alone and is a prime example of the bad players we used to sign in the past.

Simpson is also rubbish, so you could argue neither would be an improvement!

Hopefully Graham Carr will unearth the French Paolo Maldini and save us all!

Okay clever cunt, where do you think Liverpool will finish next year? As you are supporting their big spending approach

If Liverpool continue their ambitious approach by backing their manager and we continue to make a net profit on transfers I think its fair to say that in 2 or 3 seasons, maybe sooner, Liverpool will be playing Champions League football and we will be mid table.

Yes Liverpool will make some expensive mistakes on the way and yes we will make some great underpriced purchases but in the longer term our unambitious approach of selling our best players and buying cheaper replacements is unsustainable. If it was that easy everyone would be doing it. As one of the best supported clubs in Europe we should be setting our sights a lot, lot higher

Big spending, on a fraction of what the Manchester clubs and Chelsea fork out, with the might of Stoke and Wolves hot on their tail. They're not breaking the bank . Just using the money from the likes of Torres, Alonso, Mascherano etc. to reinvest on top of the sky money.

Liverpool are still the 4th biggest team spending wise. But they are 7th in the league, below us, the smallest spenders.

The Alonso and Mascherano money was long gone.
