Leazes i) stop telling little fibs, you're a man of 57 and ii) let it go, you're a man of 57.

Begging for responses days later at 12.30 in the morning is massively depressing to see.

spouting shit for at least 4 years and not admitting it is massively depressing to see......

Unfortunately, "days later" equates to the fact that, unlike you, I don't sit here every night and posting comments like "chomp", which is equally massively depressing.

I don't expect you to understand that.

nah.

Plenty more posts than me so that doesn't wash either, just more fibs. It's an obsession for you at the end of the day old son.

17,500 posts, I guarantee you 12,000 of them will be about Shepherd. 5,000 will be about muslims and miscellaneous browns and 500 about lemonade.

no reply from Toonpack again.

This is becoming more regular now.....

I apologise Leazes but I was on a plane (nowhere exotic sadly and work not play).

Regarding your question, I believe I do understand, here goes:

Taking money out whilst in charge is bad but making money on a profit from sale is fine, yes ??

Well that's how I see it.

How do you see it ??

most supporters would be happy to see the club win on the pitch, at the time. Your chums on skunkers, and the massively expanded fanbase tapped by the previous regime, were quite happy to make their trips to the San Siro, Nou Camp etc.

Of course, they only said so at the time, but may have been telling porkies :icon_lol:

I believe I asked you a few weeks ago, if you sell your house [or a business] would you sell it for the same price you paid for it ? :icon_lol:

Sammynb has also asked you a question which you have ignored [ I think]

You also said you would "review Mike Ashley after the 1st September deadline", and now say he is "recouping" . So, what exactly did you think he was doing before 1st September ?

All it needed was a yes or no

On the house/business you try and make a profit, and as I said, that's absolutely fine, in my opinion.

all I asked for was your opinion before September 1st.

I don't disagree that when you sell a house you aim to make a profit, so why do you think a business is any different ? Before you reply, with your words of wisdom laced with irrational hatred, consider what price they would have got for a 3rd division club that had spent years in the doldrums, which is where they found it, and a recent history similar to that of Sheff Wed rather than an expanded stadium being one of the best in europe, years of regular european football, a tapped fanbase and one of the biggest turnovers in world football ?

Somehow, I think all this will continue to pass you by...

I don't !?!?!?! Profit from sale is perfectly fine as I've said.

What about taking money out while in charge though ??? I think that's generally bad(unless it's allocation of profit or the like), what about you ???

they backed their managers man, with all those despicable "trophy players" of course, who brought european football, trips to the Nou Camp, San Siro.

Consider this : if they pocketed as much as you make out they did, it only escalates the calibre of player and rise of the club even more. Understand ? That's some job they did, doing all that without backing their managers and pocketing the money from sales [like your man is doing].

So. What was your opinion of your man before September 1st, before you "revised your opinion" ? Don;t take too long to answer this, my other points, and sammynb question he posed to you .

I've said I can't find Sammy's question(s), if you quote it, I'll answer.

its Sammys quote, he highlighted it, you replied to the post he made but not the highlight :icon_lol:

Just adding to the quote pyramid.

To be honest like LM I can't remember Sammy ever claiming that Ashley was the saviour, and in recent times ever disputing that he and Llambias are mugs.

thats the point Stevie, he doesn't say anything !!! He's just a grey man, who waits to see what happens, then spouts a load of hot air and kids himself he knows what he is talking about. At 2 in the morning sometimes too.... :icon_lol:

I've said more than a few times that Mike Ashley was running NUFC with the aim of being a feeder business for Sports Direct, and he has actively came on here in the morning and rubbished those comments.

He's brainless, and an idiot. Don't suppose an apology is on his radar mind .... :icon_lol:

Don't understand your vendetta Leazes. Not this one or any of them.

no vendetta, I just think its amusing when people have their heads so far up their arse they can't admit when they have been wrong about something.

unfortunately, I have stuck to my guns over the years, and what I have said is now happening, I suggest that those who insist I have been spouting rubbish [and still am when I am absolutely correct] is to the massive detriment of the board.

If Mike Ashley starts to show the ambition for the club and match his predecessor, I will be more than happy to admit that I have been wrong. No problem at all.

FWIW, to get backon track, and hopefully minus those who can't read or have poor judgement, I don't believe Freddie Shepherd believes a word of what he says about Mike Ashley.

He believes, quite sincerely, that Mike Ashley is taking the club backwards. And he is right.

No. I can assure you, you going on about it constantly spoils the board mate. Those are the guns you should stop sticking to.

Even in this response you have, again, taken the opportunity to repeat your endless mantra.

No one cares man. People would have far more respect for you if you stopped going on about it.

I understand what you say. I however, would have more respect for idiots like the Grey man ie mancmag, if he admitted he has been wrong, and started listening and reading my posts rather than simply replying to the poster.

Unlike some other people, while I am obviously pleased we have won a few games etc [despite the claims of some others too, to the detriment of the board], I don't get carried away because I see the bigger long term picture.

Significantly, not too many people are disagreeing with me in the numbers or the manner that they used to.

Your whole schtick that we are going backwards lacks a certain credibility seeing as we have equalled or bettered our results from last season for the first 13 games of this season. That record is only under threat at home to Chelsea and if we get a draw there, we have 3 winnable games which could mean equalling or bettering results from the previous season all the way up to christmas. If you want to argue thats a club going backwards when you and i both know the ONLY thing that matters at any club is results on the pitch, then you wont get any agreement from me.

short term thinking.

Sorry Chez, but that is what you are doing.

Long term - sell your best players, don't back your manager, pocket the cash, refuse to pay the going rate for top footballers....and run the club for the benefit of Sports Direct......there is only one way you are going.

Leazes though seriously, re-read what you've just written there in the context of what other posters like Trophyshy are telling you. You're now saying that even when Shepherd may say something that conflicts with the things you say, you'll just correct that for him and substitute what you think he's really thinking. As if anyone is ever going to take that type of debating seriously. And you're going to those lengths when nobody's even arsed about the subject to begin with.

Ignore me by all means (I'd genuinely welcome that fwiw) but listen to the other posters flagging this up. If I'm such a grey man with nowt to say it obviously can't reflect well on you hounding me round the board pre-occupying yourself with getting my views on things days later. It is a vendetta whichever way you dress it up-not just against me but several other posters-and everyone has lost count of the number of people who've told you to let go of it by now I'm sure.

Significantly, not too many people are disagreeing with me in the numbers or the manner that they used to.

But the 'idiots' as you call them are not pursuing anything from you. You are the one in perpetual pursuit of recognition of yourself or, relatedly, the denigration of others. Why can't you just move on? People have different views all the time in life, and they are entitled to change them as things move along. There has been thousands of views expressed and hundreds ridiculed on this board. Why is it that only you can't let one go? No one else carries on this way.

I thought going to Tenerife with wor lass and the family was a bad idea, and so it proved to be. I didn't force my girlfriend to admit it had been a bad idea, nor continue to slag her off until she did admit it. That would have made me an arsehole, especially seeing as we all suffered anyway. That doesn't mean I can't enjoy another holiday and it doesn't mean I think she is an idiot for not repeatedly telling me I was right.

Your continuous pursuit of individuals and desire to be recognised for holding (not too clairvoyant) views ultimately makes you look, at best, foolish. Ironic when you believe it is others who disagreed with you should be considered so. The difference is they don't care at all and you care too much.

You're often a canny poster but all this stuff, the years and years of it, completely erodes goodwill and enjoyment.

Be the change man. You can move on. Step into the light Carol Anne.

Anyway, that's it from me. I like to try every 6 months and was a few weeks overdue.

I reckon you ought to take your head out of your arse tbh. I've said why, and I'm not saying it again. You're a gasbag, with no opinions, views, and can't admit that you have been replying to me rather than actually reading what I have been trying to tell you, hence you spouting how wrong I have been, when what I have said is now happening, the club is being run for the benefit of Sports direct and will never show the ambition for itself that it should be doing under this mans ownership.

I'm not really bothered what you say, I've no respect for you because you can't admit you are wrong. I'm only saying that I think Shepherd is being diplomatic [for a change, possibly, but does it matter?] or otherwise be accused of sour grapes by those who are over-reacting to a decent run. It's my view, unlike you, I state my views rather than babble on, if they are wrong, then OK I'll say so later, but I don't think I am wrong [obviously or I wouldn't say it in the first place].
