He was nee Paul Wyn. Even though he might've been a borderline wrongun, he caused nee one nee harm and made tens of millions for good causes. I mean he might've said to a 25 year old lass "how pet ye fancy a shag" but we've all used the Sidney Smutt book of chat up lines when we've been single nuw n then, so lets not tarnish what he was, which was someone who made good causes loads of money. I mind when I was a kid this ginger kid on Jim'll Fix It come on, and I thought poor cunt, then ye seen him, he had legs but only to his knees, and one full arm. Dear Jim fix it so I can take a penalty at the kop end. This kid took a pen Grobelaar dived the other way and the ball went in the other side. The kid was beaming. So fair enough ye wouldn't want to naa what was on the cunts hard drive, no cunt will ever know, but to me he's not in the "wrongun till proven other wise category".

A slight piece of evidence that being unable to drink for 4 or 5 months is a good thing. 8am in the morning, and I'm pissed enough to write this. I was completely wrong, Savile was one of the worst faces in the history of this country.

Seems We can add Bill Cosby to the list.

He had one of those "pay someone off without liability" cases which like Jackson seem very dodgy to me.

Then again the lass with the most cause now cites "multiple occasions" - how the fuck can you be drugged and raped and go back for more?

Don't like the amount of venom directed at these women, it happened with the first few who came out about Savile over here and from the comments sections the majority of the American public (or at least the kind that comment on newspaper articles) seem to be reacting the same.

In one breath saying how they know the accused just isn't like that and the woman is seeking attention/cash, and the next saying if it were true why didn't they say something at the time, when the accused was even more popular, powerful and loved.

It's fine to not believe the accusations, but don't attack these women and then seem surprised when they are reluctant to come forward.

I think, given the places Savile & co. were connected with, it's certainly a distinct possibility some kids were killed too. Whether this particular person is on the level or not is another matter.

Hate to say it but it's believable that they would get away with it - locking single mothers up in asylums and other stuff like that proves that people on the edges were disposable.

Exaro and the Sunday People have published a story regarding allegations of child murder. Here’s my response:

The allegations of cruelty, torture and murder are truly shocking and go far beyond the case I raised with the Prime Minister two years ago. The public will be deeply concerned which is why it is vital the police quickly establish the facts. It’s such a disturbing allegation that I have no doubt the resources will be found to conduct a thorough investigation.

If true, this is a vital piece of the jigsaw in the pursuit of organised child abuse.

We are at the point where the government should consider a national police inquiry made up of specialists from around the country. It is unfair to ask the police in London alone to investigate alleged crimes that took place in many regions of the UK. I am writing to the PM to make this request.

Scary thought. Just how far does this go? The Lord Mcalpine thing was very worrying, given he used the same debunking tactic he wrote in his fucking business advice book years before.

Pub talk, but when I was working in London a few fellas were running a campaign in that swanky westminster bar on the water, that the 70's/80's tory "gay" was actually code for having a weakness for young children. Seemed to have some credence as they had tons of examples in the little booklet they were handing around, some of which have now come to light. :(
